  • This is my latest elevated planter box design, which uses crossed legs in a trestle style secured by solid half lap joints. This video shows in detail how to build the elevated planter bed.
    This stand up planter is great for growing vegetables without bending over.
    I suggest using redwood or cedar for the planter, since those woods are rot and pest resistant.
    I tried a new editing style for this video, and I hope you like it.
