There should have been a silicone band that fits over the neck of the water bottle. The water pump fits over the silicone band to keep the water pump from moving or jiggling when it sits on the water bottle. I got mine on sale at a liquidation store for 3.25 (bought 2 for bad weather emergencies when tap water is unsafe to drink.) mine is the same one you got.

Yeah definitely keep doing your research to see what is best for you but they work really well. No issue for the one I show in this video! Been going strong.
Notice that it's much quieter when it's in water. I have this pump and the sound is negligible.

Thanks for this video I lost the instructions for it. How do we clean it before using it? I think I saw on the instructions to boil both the tubes and metal hose?

Great video just a note though I wouldn't run the pump without it connected to water it's louder without water running through it, and your likely to not ruin per say but dry running a water pump is never a good idea.

I am very glad you did this as the so-called instructions really did not help. I am not happy with mine so far and I haven’t even used it. The box came damaged and they sent the wrong USB cord. I am charging it now and will reserve my own review until then thank you!

I'm trying to find a quality version of this kind of product but everything I'm seeing for sale is $15 and looks like it will break easily. Is there a high quality version of this?
I mean the one on the video Ive been using it almost everyday with no issue and still going strong.
They all cost about the same, and, surprisingly are of high quality.
I also bought a pump which has a platform to set a cup/glass for filling without having to hold onto it. It costs about $30. The whole thing sits on top of the jug.

It pumps only room temperature water, add ice if you want it cold.
The hose seems short, does it get all the water?
Why is the pump quiet when you used it at your sink?
Its suppose to be quiet when you pump it water out but loud when its empty and no water.

This is my second pump and it too is leaking.
Is there any kind of washer supplied in the box as it eventually leaks after a while around the bottom each time you switch it on.

Do you have the spout connected correctly? Someone else had a leak issue and she had the spout connected wrong. The long end (before the bend) goes into the pump. The leak appears to be underneath with the wrong connection.
I have the same model, the pump does not secure to the water bottle and falls off

You talk about how noisy it is but when it's flowing water it seems to be significantly quieter. I would imagine once connected to a water bottle maybe even quieter.

Does it work on different liquid with different densities?
I would suggest to mainly use for water, I cannot promise that it will continue to work fine with other liquid like soda and etc. I might stain the inside and etc.

Thanks for the explanation - imo it's not worth it. The pump leaks, it's not sturdy on the bottle, it makes one helluva noise, the first time I removed the pump to charge it the tube came off and fell back into the gallon bottl (how do I retrieve the tube without wasting all of the water in the bottle - I will have to devise a wire hook)

Mine just stop working after one year. Fully charge but no water pumping out.

Hmmm not sure because the actual product is made for those huge gallons of water and the actual product has a bit of weight to it.

Not sure as I havent used this for a while and no longer have this with me at the moment.
Inside diameter is 3/16; outer is 5/16, I needed the longer length for remote placement... Be sure to get food-grade tubing.
I bought one and it doesn't make that noise. Its actually silent.

You can use the cable that i show you in the video.
You should have showed how to fit on a 3-5 gallon. Every plastic jug has a different opening that doesn't fit the product.
Noted! At the time this was the longest thing I had. Haha
If you look at Amazon's product description, it will tell you what it fits. Mostly 55mm non-screw on jug of any capacity with the cap on. You'll peel off the plastic seal and cut a hole in the white Styrofoam piece, then feed the tubing thru the opening. The pump will fit securely on top. You're welcome.

I rinse it and use a really small brush to clean it.
