every song song was different. every concert was different. sometimes they were on. sometimes they were off. i remember them complaining about the entire steal your face tour in the 70s. they didnt like it. the songs on those discs (albums) are great though. there was absolutely nothing like a grateful dead concert. in their own words they said, were not the best, but were the best at what we do. they were beautiful and theres alot of great memories around the band and what they did.
Whoa ! The energy of this band is just amazing ! Garcia flying all over the fretboard 🎸 This is what you get with the Grateful Dead and it’s Great !!! Peace ☮ from Hawaii 🏄🏻♂🌊🐙🦑🍄🌸🐳🌋🐠🤙🌺🌴🏝🎸🎸🎸
your damm right just like a high school band!!!!!! you gotta love the dead they sound great sometimes and shitty all the rest but thats rock n roll for ya
Deep down in Louisiana, in New Orleans . . . is Tanya n Dorise doing their version of JBG on guitar and violin. Sound recording not greatest, but is listenable. ua-cam.com/video/J91MT7fM0dQ/v-deo.html This one has better sound quality, but video is slightly distorted. ua-cam.com/video/bYv_pDo9QAY/v-deo.html Dorise Grace Blackmon "went on to be with her ancestors." 2023 Nov19
Only The Dead could be the best and the worst at the same time. I'll never know how they did it, but they were always fun. The second Woodstock album was total garbage and The Dead's set wasn't even in THAT. Go figure.
"they are the greatest rock'n'roll band there ever was"-Bill Graham
I was just going to post the exact same thing. Jerry must've been doing the right drugs that night.
