Morning David. Just finished watching this video and the word you are looking for is 'picturesque'. It's postcard pretty. Food looks delicious but I wouldn't eat raw fish (similar to poke). Can you believe there was a time when a Christian church and a mosque stood side by side?.🤔. Boy, how times have changed. Anyway, have a wonderful Father's Day with Melina and Siena.🙏😇✌️🎉🥳❤️🇹🇹🇨🇦

David, don't listen to what the Albanian guide says, everything you see in Albania was built by the Albanians themselves, even the mosques were built on the foundations of Orthodox churches, the Turkish Ottomans only burned and destroyed them for 500 years.

He’s not wrong. Albanians have built all those houses and old buildings, even when under Ottoman occupation for 500 years and attacked by many invaders for most of its history. Albanians kept their language and traditions alive, as one of the oldest Nations in the world. Albanians were introduced to Catholicism after Constantine legalized Christianity in the 3rd century, before that they were polytheistic like other ancient populations at the time.
