Done! Thanks for the review beauty.
@@JessicaHicks aw thank you so much :)
I noticed your cutting board was sliding all over the place while you were slicing vegetables. If you put a damp paper towel underneath it, that will hold it in place and give you a more stable work surface.
oh thanks for the tip!
Love people like you 🙏🙌
Or do as I do. I have a problem with patience and anger easily.
Just rip the vegetables with one's hand or use scissors.
I have even put ingredients into the pot uncut and simply cut them while eating with my teeth.
I was thinking the same thing haha
Great video! I tried Blue Apron a few years back. The food was good, but I'm not a picky eater and my family is. For me, the major turnoffs were the (mostly) off the wall recipes, time to cook, and the price. Yes, it's a convenience product but I guess I was hoping for more "normal" recipes. Thanks again for the video!
You're very welcome! If you're looking for more normal recipes, check out HelloFresh. I've found that they offer more classic recipes. Also delicious :).
was there ice on top as well or just on the bottom?
How long did it take overall?
We just tried your Teriyaki Salmon with brown rice and spicy green beans. Great! the best ever! Dave S
Nice!
It is hard to get a food service that specialize on candida diet.
Wah mantap ma on .tabo na i..
I have a few questions for you if you don't mind.
So I'm a single guy living alone. I can't say I'm too excited to cook, but I feel like I could do something like this. Is there an option for one person?
Also, is blue apron something I can depond on for all my meals throughout the week? Or is it mainly just one meal per day type thing.
I eat fast food alot. Yeah, I'm not super proud of it. Would blue apron be cheaper then eating out for most meals? Or is it more on the expensive side?
Let me know if you would like to. I'm kinda curious.
I'd get the meal for 2 and take the leftovers for lunch. You can get only 3 meals per week so you have lunch OR eat the leftovers the day after you cook the second meal, then you've got 4 healthy dinners for the week. It's cheaper than eating out if you buy it when they are running a special, I never pay full price.
Sooo much plastic. I was thinking about trying blue apron because planet fitness gives you a huge trial discount but I dont like that they use so much plastic. Great video though. Thank you!
i just ordered
I wish they had more organic meat
Looks like $10 per meal after the intro pricing
What country are you in? Here in the US, it's $22/meal on the 2/wk plan, $20/meal on the 3/wk plan, something like $18.66/meal for 5/wk...
@@loganrobertson9126 On their US website, it's about $10 per person, equal to $20 per meal, serves 2.
Lol trying to sell this to the American public. Lol they will go bankrupt. Their stock went from 150 to 7 bucks 😂😂😂 lazy people dont want to cook they just want to throw in the microwave and go. Not only are they expensive but you still have to cook meals that are over charged. You can have instacart deliever all the ingredients for cheaper.
Not much food.
Like the grocery story, but 3-4X as EXPENSIVE, WASTEFUL & RESTRICTIVE. Tried it for 4 weeks. Forgettable recipes, old and missing ingredients, delayed shipments, and a truly sickening amount of packaging (each ingredient, be it a lemon or 1/2 tsp of vinegar, comes inside 4 levels of non-recyclable plastic packaging) made me cancel after 3 weeks, and then they had me pay for another week because hey, why not squeeze as much as you can out of your already dissatisfied customers. The ingredients require unpackaging, washing, cutting, mixing, processing and full clean-up afterwards, so it ends up taking 1 hr + for any meal. Nothing is organic or particularly high quality. More expensive than restaurant food, half as flavorful, not particularly healthy. I truly hope they go out of business soon. What a moral disaster of a company.
Have you found a better option? I'm curious about blue apron, but after reading your review, not as much. Is there a similar company you would recommend?
yeah wow, what a waste. Can't imagine this service is sustainable. Imagine the amount of waste these deliveries create, the delivery to your house, the wrapper. Way too much time and energy into delivering a meal. Ridiculous, this company will not be here for very long.
They exist since 2012
Cancelling is near impossible in 2022, you basically have to call them now
Same intro as hellofresh🙃
No wonder their stock crashed
You have meals that arent even pre cooked. What a shame. Who wants to order food wait a few days to then cook it later. 😂
At least half a dozen other companies are offering a box of ingredients to cook. Some people like to cook, and have plenty of time.
@@tenossos they are crashing because no one wants to do it. There is a difference. This is 2020. Blue apron and all these other conpanies are indulging in grandma mentalities. No one in this generation is doing that and will not do it. You have your little ones and twosoes but not enpugh to keep these kind of companies flourishing. This generation doesnt even like to cook.
@@christ3155 You mean no retired people want to cook for themselves, and no one is working from home and has time and interest to cook?
@@christ3155 That said, I see that some of these companies are adding ready to heat and eat meals to their menus
@@tenossos no i dont mean any of that. There are young mother and fathers that dont even know how to cook. People dont care about this and about cooking. This generation is more intrigued about making money and money alone
Holy cow!
Environmental disaster.
All that plastic.
It is Biodegradable plastic... im certain!
@@oscarramos736 - Too bad there is no such thing as safe plastic. Biodegradable or not.
