I love how we go from one Kincaid first down, to him writhing on the ground in pain, immediately to another Kincaid first down.
Between the Guardians walking off the Yankees, Padres eliminating the Dodgers, Tennessee beating Alabama, and Utah beating USC, it was a crazy day in sports.
Only way to top it would have been for texass to lose and they damn near did.

@J Ygb Last season we had two players die within 9 months of each other. The helmets they wore had their likeness hand painted on the team helmets. The game was dedicated to them.

USC never deserved a #6....they had faced nobody, and struggled against a decidedly ordinary OSU. The only reason they are always over-ranked is that they have a great PR department, recruit flashy players, and sportswriters are living in the Pete Carroll past....
@@ilikehardplay personally i think their coach is a douchebag - i'm all for him getting the big payoff or anyone making a ton of money... but he "lied" to players on the way out the door at his last stop. that's Dbag move #1. Dbag move #2 was that his assistant while he was @ OU was recruiting kids for USC (Roy Manning). I'm not sure if the NCAA ever did anything to him or not, last I had heard there was confirmed material from a recruit/s that confirmed it.
I agree with you though - they were never a #6. The ranking system is bogus to begin with. I'm pretty certain it's done with ratings and $$$ in mind where they put teams at the beginning of the season.
I still go back to that i LOVE seeing those gutsy coaches who live/die on that one call. I get it - if that 2 pt conversion fails, that coach is going to catch flak for the remainder of the year... hell in this day and age, his contract could be voided out and he get fired at the end of the game. So that's 110% total guts and I have hella respect for that. Those are the games where you love sitting in the seats coming down the stretch for that one play.

You should do a compilation of the top 25 games of the year at the end of the season. You already have:
Appalachian State UNC; Appalachian State Troy; Utah USC; Alabama Tennessee; Duke UNC; Tennessee Pitt; Alabama Texas, etc.
Plus, you still have like 5 weeks left and there are always the crazy insane bowl games.

I remember watching this with my dad. We were on a trip in California in our hotel room and we have this playing on the TV. We have been lifelong Utah football fans, and this win was freaking incredible.

I thought that was a slimy scheme on their part. Why did they dedicate the game to him this late in the season? Why not do this game 1? This was about building up more emotions for their fans and players. They literally used a dead teammate and waited till this game to use him. That’s gross.

Your just more likely to watch a close nfl game vs a close college game because of the amount of games played. Also in the nfl you don't see top teams destroyed lesser teams every week.

College football every day is something new and unexpected. You have teams that replace players every year because they don’t stay for 10+ years they go for 4 and graduate to either big league or focus on real life jobs which result good or bad seasons base on new recruits coming in.
You clearly never pay attention to CFB because if you did you would know almost majority of college football have weaker teams upset bigger schools with impossible odds.
It even makes your heart race just watching the highlights. Got to love CFB!

I refer you to the 2009 Humanitarian Bowl between Idaho and Bowling Green. BGSU scores to go up 42-35, Idaho gets a TD with 4 seconds left and goes for 2, gets it.
There's also the Boise State-Oklahoma Fiesta Bowl where the Broncos won it with a 2 point conversion in OT, a Statue of Liberty to Ian Johnson.

USC was literally gifted AT LEAST 5 seconds at the end of the game for calling a timeout in the middle of the play??? Additionally, three targeting reviews were found with no penalty, and the third one I am shocked Utah’s man wasn’t hospitalized.

USC choked. They amass almost 100 yds in penalties, double of Utah. Utah's only mistake was a fumble that resulted in 0 USC points

I took a red eye back from the east coast just to make this game and I’m so glad I did. One of the best games I’ll probably ever be in attendance for. Just so happy we were able to pull out the win. Nothing but respect for USC. My voice is gone, but I don’t care. Go Utes!

I was at the UCLA/Utah game last weekend and I'll admit I was a bit nervous because Utah only had one loss at the time & they've been playing great. It was a close game at first, but UCLA eventually pulled away to remain undefeated.
I saw that Utah was playing USC the following week (today) and said to my friends, "Utah's gonna beat SC."
I know they left California with a bad taste in their mouths and were gonna get their revenge against USC, especially playing on their home field.

USC always has trouble in opposing stadiums starting with the letter "R". Pete Carroll still has nightmares about Reser Stadium and the Trojans have had a lot of trouble at Rice-Eccles, too.

@@Gizziiusa do you mean maul? Scrum is used in rugby to restart gameplay after penalties. Tbh I think they should do mauls much more often in football, they can be quite effective coordinated and with good technique. source: played rugby throughout highschool.
@@mattybclaps No. Where im from, we use the word "scrum" (slang English) to designate (often not that common of an occurrence) times in football where the person with the ball is still on his feet pushing for more yardage, along with his teammates pushing him, while the defense is (usually) trying to strip the ball from him causing a fumble in which they hope to retrieve.
Almost always, it only lasts a few seconds, until such a time the ref has decided that "forward progress" has been achieved and blows the end of the play via whistle.
The word is used simply b/c of its visual similarities with the typical Rugby scrum.

Laughing so hard at Caleb Williams crying , I hope he got humbled by this.
To be fair, I wouldn't exactly say him or the offense were the reason they lost. Caleb went 25/42 for 381 yards, 5 TD's, 0 INT's, and 8 rushes for 57 yards. USC had 556 yards of offense. The defense didn't play well this game and it cost them.

Usually when theirs a interception at the end of the game I yell get down but him returning it took of valuable seconds of the clock. You've gotta love college football.
No it didn't...there was pass-interference.
And usc called timeout in the middle of the play. And they let it stand
They ended up putting 5 seconds back on the clock due to the penalty
Actually the refs set the clock back to 13 seconds for no reason. Should have been :06
USC got a TO and 5 extra seconds… in the middle of the play. Oh, and how come all the USC fans whining about the refs weren’t upset they didn’t call unnecessary roughness on the blatant frustration late hit out of bounds at the end of the PI play at the end? Reffing was bad all night both ways, USC’s O-line was extending plays by holding all night long and they weren’t flagged for it once.
Utah knew already having 2 losses wasn’t gonna have them in a big bowl game so they decided to end usc’s hopes at a natty 😂😂
With this win and winning out, they still have a chance to play in the PAC 12 championship. So they still have a chance for a “big” bowl game.
I'm not sure of that... If they & UCLA can win out, they will likely face each other in the PAC-12 Championship. Both teams would be on track to get good bowls. Likely only a victorious UCLA could end up in the National Championship.....but that would likely put Utah in the Rose Bowl, facing Michigan.
That’s PAC-12 business. As a Utah fan, I love it when we host the LA schools or the Arizona schools mid to late season. They come into a loud environment where the air is dry and cold. It’s not pleasant for teams that aren’t used to it.
