- We don’t know what part of this movie scared us more. Was the off putting visuals, the not so perfect writing or the totally satisfactory ending? Whatever it was, Bratz Sleepover Adventure definitely leaves a long and maybe unwanted, lasting impression. Despite all of its flaws, it's oddly nostalgic and does teach a valuable life lesson or two like “everything you’ve ever known could be a mirage! :D” All in all making this movie a 10 out of 10 must see!

MEGAN STORY IS THE REASON WHY I REFUSE AND HATE THE RIDE THEY WENT ONE, BECAUSE IM SCARED TO GET PUKED ON. Ironically this was one of my top favorite bratz movies
ACTUALLY SAAAAME! WE'VE NEVER BEEN EITHER! Now that we read your comment i think Megan's story was one of the reasons we've never been on any ride like that either 🤣
@@TwoDream LIKE I CRIED WHEN I SAW A CLOWN AT THE CIRCUS WHEN I WAS 5 BECAUSE OF THIS MOVIE. I'm 16 now but still hate clowns.
@@vanillaa_spice460 Ohhh noo 😭 We have always hated clowns and this movie didn't help with that. At least we are all traumatized together ❤️ 💙🙏
That Ending Is Very Scary
I Say
My Little Pony
And
DC Super Hero Girls

They Are Better This Thing
Those 2 Are Great And Have Good Things Like Great Songs
@@TwoDream I watch the movie few times and as a kid, I was not terrified, I enjoyed it and then to now, it gave me some clues:
1. The house: the girls arrive at Ginger’s house and during their slumber party, they tell some spooky stories, but Ginger is scared that her mom will find out and she will be mad, but nope she wasn’t.
2. Those spooky stories like: Sasha’s, Cole’s, Megan’s, and Jade’s are recognizable at the end of the movie that their’s taco(dog) and Miss Winters, Sasha’s doppelgänger, a clown and being alone at the carnival from Megan’s story, when they turned monsters when they come up to Sasha’s house and the Whippings family got scared and fainted and it was from Jade’s story.
3. After Ginger refuse to tell a scary story, she ran out of the room and the girls feel bad.
I could be wrong, but I feel like the family is scaring the girls like the same thing that the girls scared Ginger. The FINAL clue is…. Ginger is a ghost and the house has been abandoned and the weird noise was the no trans passing sign. Sasha’s, Cole’s, Megan’s, and Jade’s story has come true (expect for Yasmin’s). This whole movie got me realizing (not as a kid), I realized it until I keep rewatching it for few times. I would say it’s awesome, scary and weird at the same time. 👍
as someone who hates phone calls, I'd love to have a dog talk for me.
I loved this review 💕💕💕
Also! There's many things I believe is worth mentioning here! A lot of Easter Eggs I should say!
1. In the beginning of the movie, Yasmin says, "You know what they say: strange things happen on a full moon" and that comes into full circle with the ending of this movie because strange things did in fact happen on a full moon, which Yasmin repeats.
2. The ending is every scary story they've told coming true. Starting with Chloe, Sasha, and Megan seeing their characters from the story they've told. Then we see Ginger and her parents appear at every house just like Yasmin's bracelet kept popping up wherever she went. Lastly, they become monsters just like in Jade's story.
3. And lastly, it's confirmed in the wiki that Ginger and her parents are ghosts. I have a theory though: my theory is, Ginger wanted to experience a sleepover because she unfortunately died at a young age and she wanted to partake in something she always wanted to do but missed out on. Her parents allowed it.
So Ginger is actually a very nice girl. If the Bratz had been more considering towards her, then instead of the ending they got, they would've just bid her goodbye and went back to their respective homes leaving them satisfied, and also fulfilling Gingers wish and making her happy. Perhaps Ginger and her parents could've rested peacefully after that experience, and it would've been the last time they and the Bratz interact considering their house is abandoned and Gingers wish is fulfilled.
But since they were straight up mean to Ginger and uncaring of her feelings, Ginger decided to get revenge. So we know the Bratz kept her up and scared her for basically the entire night right? Ginger does the same to them. Notice when it's her turn to tell her story, Ginger acts extremely dramatic, "No! No! I don't think I can! My goodness! My goodness! It's too horrible! I can't!" and runs out. It was clearly acting. It was a catalyst to get the Bratz to find her. When the Bratz leave, Ginger...assuming she has spiritual powers, makes her house show it's true abandoned form. What the house looked like before was an illusion. So Ginger scares the Bratz away from her house where they find out it's been abandoned the entire time. Now Gingers plan is officially established: she begins creating more illusions- that being the characters from the girls stories, showing up at all of their homes,
And by the way, notice when she appears at Megan's house, she grins. A knowing grin. Look at her face at timestamp 35:58 her dad is also smiling knowing what they put her daughter through, which is why her parents are involved with her plan. Eventually, Ginger puts a temporary curse on the girls to turn them into the monsters from Jade's story. "Why did Ginger and her parents scream and faint upon seeing the Bratz then?" Again, just more acting to get the Bratz to look at their new forms.
And then you know, the full moon is on display. "Strange things happen on a full moon" Yes indeed. You run into a ghost who simply wants to have an experience every kid should deserve but you treat her wrong, and now as vengeance, you're cursed presumably until morning.
I'd like to think off screen, the Bratz wake up the next morning, back into their normal bodies in their respective houses and believe last night was all a dream when it really wasn't.
But yeah! That's it.
that's alot
I actually saved an Instagram post of artwork someone made of Megan's story, and they went as far as make a gory version of their first drawing where Tonya and Cali were murdered and their corpses were laying behind her along with the recurring clown. That and this video resurfaced all my memories of this movie
Send it to me... @itsjustnatti_
I would love to see
The two scariest parts of that one sleepover movie were the dog overtaking the identity of his owner and gaslighting Chloe the entire time and the monster scenes when Jade was being overtaken and when the Bratz had been part of it. I cannot tell you how much nightmare fuel this movie became or how much my sister and I suffered from rewarching the DVD over and over again since we owned it. I truly don't know who thought this was okay for kids, or maybe there was an age restriction I missed growing up, but the Bratz franchise pulled no punches when it came to trying to traumatize their viewers. This movie is only 3rd after the one with the Tuber and after the Bratz Pixies where the mother became a freaking tree and there was an entire cult. The saddest part about watching the movies growing is that I couldn't even share my distress with my peers because they didn't watch Bratz!
that doppleganger theory made me tear up why the frick did't i think about that EWWWWWWWWWW lol also the worst part if the movie is the end for me, the dreading loneliness of them running around trying to find their homes for them to be greeted with the ghost family over and over again like- WHERES THEIR PARENTS LOL
I was easily scared as a kid and the Jade story TERRIFIED me. Nightmares for days. Boo-Bah lookin freaks, and I think that's what scared me so much.
I stopped watching after, never again.
Same
This movie traumatized me of western girly girl franchises until I discovered shoujo anime...
And then Puella Magi Madoka Magica existed.

This definitely creeped me out but Bratz Fashion Pixies also scared me a bit for some reason
Jade, Sasha and Meg’s stories HAUNTED ME when I was a kid 😭 like what?! I was NOT prepared for that
My sister and I would have “sleepovers” in each others’ rooms when we were little and we’d watch this every time! The haunted attraction ride story freaked me out but I would *never* admit it to my little sister. 😂
Jordan Peele ripped off bratz
The Park Jimin Effect??? Jin??? Are yall armys??😭😭😭😭
That caught me so off guard the last thing I was expecting in a Bratz review was something about BTS, not complaining though😂
OH YEAH I JUST NOTICED THE FREAKING BLACK SWAN AND DYNAMITE JHOPE POSTERS AS WELL AS BT21 IN THE BACK LMAO OMG I'M SO HAPPY I STUMBLED UPON PURPLE BLOODED PEOPLE (why am I surprised, as if bts wasn't the biggest band in the world lmao whatever)
Sasha's story TERRIFIED me as a kid 😂 I also remember only wanting to watch her and Meghan's stories because I thought the rest were lame
Honestly, I feel like the story with the clown, the clown craze of 2016 and the IT 2017 remake all had a hand in my irrational fear of clowns.
If someone asked me for a definition of a fever dream I would show them any of the brats kids or babies movies. Because super babies has a special in my subconscious.
Chloe's mom looks like Tiffany from chucky
This movie used to be my jam. I loved these stories so much. You two are hilarious, thanks for this, I was very happy to see what you thought and to realize this was a ridiculous movie. Lmao
3:53- 3:58 They sound like NPCs
This is the sort of movie they would be a little bit scary, but fun to watch when you’re a kid, but extremely trippy when you’re an adult
Rewatching this now, Jade’s story gives me SERIOUS Gravity Falls energy
And the whole movie gives me Goosebumps vibes
The movies scarred all of us early 2000s kids for life
“Roblox girlfriend”💀
They should've ended the film with a reveal that the whole sequence was Ginger's story
That’s what I was thinking

¿Think it'll Scare The Kids?
37:17 37:26 37:39 38:11 38:22
¿The Kids? It'll Give The Parents Nightmares.

I was never scared of this movie as a kid😭 I absolutely had an obsession with everything Bratz🧔🏻♀️✋
Same
Yasmin looks like an animated version of my sister.
I remember watching it with me siblings and I gotta tell ya the ending was crazy I didn’t have any whereabouts that they were being messed with an spirit or worse…
An entity
But another thing megan, jade and even sashas stories made me uncomfortable in general (the other two weren’t so bad) still enjoyed though
You look like guys

I USED TO LOVE THIS MOVIE OML
