I just had to make up part of a flower as I had miscounted somewhere.... No matter as it is a practice one really. So excited to see Julia Fairy as that is one I have bought and am interested to see how hard it is... Today, I printed out the sheep, the seahorse and the freebie I bought off you so next step is buying fabric and thread... Your stitching is so beautiful and neat. I hope I can do mine half as well 🥰🥰😀😀💜💜
I'm happy to hear your bookmark is progressing and you never stop making mistakes even when you've been stitching for many years...it does just happen 🙄 I look forward to showing you Julia...I would say the stitching is not difficult but it's just a lot of it. Some of the metallic threads are a bit trickier to stitch with. I hope you have fun stitching my designs; the rainbow coloured ones are definitely my faves!

aww, the flu is absolutely miserable. glad you're feeling better! And glad you were able to do something enjoyable when sick too. I love your fabric choices. And we can say you're cautious at the beginning but less likely to ufo/rip out stitches after starting projects so time well invested in exploring fabric choices:D
I use acid free tissue around paper towel cores for smaller pieces. Some of my larger cuts are rolled on mailing tubes. And you can use the inside of the tubes as well. I don't have many large cuts so labelling is not a problem.
Lovely video as always. I love your fox drawing! At the moment all my fabric is currently folded in a box, but my long term aim is a small armoire with a hanging rail. My idea is to put the fabric on clip hangers for skirts so it can hang crease free.

Those arctic animals are adorable! I’m VERY new to cross stitching so I don’t have a huge fabric stash. Currently I use an old sewing box to keep my fabric in. I also have thought about using a file box.
Love the idea of a "rescue and rehoming service" for abandoned and neglected cross-stitch projects. 🤣 Not all stitchers and their projects are compatible - nice to think the piece can live to its full potential elsewhere. Glad you're over the flu, Kat. Meant to also add, I like how you change the display in the shelves behind you, each FlossTube. 😁👍
It's a fair point that sometimes a pattern just isn't a good fit and there's no point trying to force it. I am super happy my UFO can be rehomed though 😄 That's cool that you noticed my changing displays...I have fun switching them up!

I tried to do all 4 Mirabilia seasonal queens. Winter Queen in lilac/light purple is still a WIP……Autumn Queen done ages ago and loved her. Gave away Spring to stitchers in Florida ( agh all the yellow dress! ) and Summer too was donated. What is with the ugly blue and odd bead combination?
Oh my gosh do much to love in this episode, where do I start? OK, at the beginning.... love the finishes you have had they are adorable and also love watching chromatic dragon come along. One of my favourite designers is Shannon Christine and I've been thinking about doing the club ones you are doing for this Halloween. I actually like your conversion of green in the hocus pocus piece. I'm keen to see how deadly aquarium and Arctic animals come along. I almost purchased them myself. I love the colours of the fabrics that you got in your new stash, you're right the purple definitely screams a Halloween piece. Ur new purple fabric is sooo pretty i absolutely love it! I wonder what ull use it for once day =D i got 2 projects right now to work on snd switch between them every other day but my chronicle pain issue makes it hard sometimes but wont let me stop from that i still spend several hours stitching on either of them and i rly got some nice progress which is soo awesome to see and look from afar =D Also! The fireflyprincess gonna be soooo gorgeous! Uve acomplished quite some goals during maynia well done!

Hi .. Loving the floss tube.. As a newbie, can you advise the most cost effective way to get DMC? I’ve only ever bought kits. Not sure what to do if I want to start using pdfs and get my own floss etc ..Thx XX
So glad you're enjoying my videos 😄 Buying DMC thread depends on where you live but I would say that finding a good online retailer is very often going to be cheaper than buying from an actual store. For example, in the UK, I would buy from Arts and Designs or Lakeside Needlecraft. I would watch out for shipping costs as you might find skeins cheaper but then have to pay shipping. I personally have never ordered from anywhere other than an actual cross stitch retailer as anywhere else you risk them not being legitimate DMC skeins. It's fun slowly building up a stash of colours though!
