The guy with the rabbits is quite an attraction. He usually sets up down on the river bank, and the rabbits just hop around on the grass. Be carefull up on the Ridge walk.
Thank you thank you for commenting about the rabbits! I’m so happy to have some of that mystery solved ☺️ no one was around, so I was very curious hehe
If you're climbing the Northern-Alps, you have to wear a helmet. You also have to prepare and submit a climbing plan, and that tent wouldn't stand a chance if it was exposed to a rainstorm on the ridge.
This tent actually has survived a few rainy and highly gusty nights up in the Northern Alps across several mountainsides, as well as exposed desert areas etc, zpacks designs their tents for that, pretty cool. Helmets are suggested for many routes in the Northern Alps, but I specifically chose routes that did not require or need them. Great point, though! And in one of my videos, I talk about submitting my hiking plan at the beginning of the trip. Always a great reminder! They have ways to do so online, at the Kamikochi welcome area, and I have found them along certain more populated routes as well.
