The El Racho Market was so intriguing and beguiling and was left unexplored,how sad,but the beef looked gorgeous and the outdoor grilling just magnified its deliciousness across the UA-cam miles.All that fresh air made me hungry for my fishy lunch of mackerel. It is so nice to see the vast magnificence of the USA and her home town cooking at Susie Bs,what a wonderful counter balance.These secret trips are fantastic even to a country we think we know a little of and then utterly surprises you.Contemporary portraiture refuses to explore the beauty of wild America unlike its 19th Century artistry,but what a beauty it is in the blog flesh. Great video Mark. After reading the description I saw this was a year ago, ha, thought you'd made another trip to the USA. Used to live in phoenix... first, in glendale.. then, moved to indianschool.. i still remember the name of the apartment, COVE ON 44TH... worked in central ave as a cashier in a japanese restaurant called ICHIBAN.. ironic though, the owner was a korean named MIMI PARK... i also worked in scottsdale,.. it was also a japresto.. a fine dining restaurant called SUSHI ON SHEA.. owned by a japanese named YAMADA SADAKO... but before these, i worked at tokyo tokyo too.. in indianschool.. temperature in arizona is kind of unbearable for me.. but i love the people out there.. most of them are kind and have a warm hearts... miss you, ARIZONA!😙😙😙
Mark, with all do respect to arizona and their style of Mexican food. You should make a trip to southeastern new mexico home of the green Chile There is also a pretty popular cave here called carlsbad caverns you can eat 750’ underground. There is great camping and hiking in the Guadalupe mountains national park. Also sitting bull falls in Lincoln national park. If you ever come by during Chile roasting season August thru September. That is a smell so awesome you will never forget.

it's amazing mark just a sudden switch from Asia and Thailand to Arizona . reminds me of my days when I lived in the USA. on that subject I just relocated to hkg from Sgp and its been a month and as much I love my country Singapore and miss all the spicy foods I am loving hkg and its a vibrant place and yeah food is abundant including spicy Thai foods . well done and God bless mark.

You were so close to the Verde river and the Hot Springs! It was at a fork on that dirt road right before you first see fossil Creek, and about 20 minutes. You could have camped there next to the Verde river and enjoyed the Hot tubs!
