      Thanks so much, Queldar! I'm very happy to hear that you liked it, it's interesting doing something completely "not you" and nailing it, lol! I AM excited to do my own thing, and scared at the same time. I'm sure you know the feeling :D Have a great and creative week!

    Such an intense process to create and yet so encapsulating of a place that we've all been taking for granted. Now I must visit here for I know there is always a way to find where one is. Thanks for taking us along! Love this. I hear what you're saying tho, about being careful not to lose why you're an artist by others incessant desires of your abilities. Having that financial security is a rewarding thing only because someone else needs you to pay to exist. looking forward to seeing more of your personal interests and imaginative pieces like the Thief of Time portrait and I believe I heard you say dragons?! Well, Have a decent Sunday out there and may the whole family take care.

      Hello Steve, I'm delighted to hear that you enjoyed the story of this ride, I'm ready for the next one! And yes, there will be dragons! i will be working on the portrait this week, hopefully I can finish it this month. Who knows... in the meantime I'm going to focus on simply bringing more joy into the process. Have a wonderful Sunday, my friend, and a glorious week ahead!

    This is one of my favorites, even though it is a completely different style for you. I love old historic maps. I could see this on display in some historic museum one day. Also, I really need to visit New Hope - it looks similar to my home town, but even cooler. I'll have to find an excuse to travel that way one day.

      Oh, I'm so thrilled that you like it that much, Blake! Who knows, it might make the history museum and be worth something way after I am gone, lol! If you decide to visit, I would be happy to walk the streets of New Hope and Lambertville with you.
      It used to be even cooler in the olden days (so I'm told), but it still retains some of that timeless spirit. It is a touristic town, so in the summer it gets very busy. Cool and unique finds. Thanks for the visit, and have a splendid week! :D

    Hi there! Could you share how you installed the canvas mural to the wall? Thank you 😊

    • @LauraDreams
      @LauraDreams  5 місяців тому +1

      Hi, first I measured the wall where the canvas will be installed and marked it with painter's tape, making sure that it will be horizontal. Then I applied wallpaper primer to the wall- the Roman brand is good. Immediately I started applying the wallpaper glue to the canvas ( also Roman brand here in the US), attaching it section by section, and adding the glue as I went. You can see towards the end of the video that due to the large size of the canvas, 2 people were needed to do this, even so it was a bit difficult, but we did it. Good luck with your project!
