That's really cool, I've never seen that trail in any winter videos, only summer. I've seen a couple of other videos of people going straight up to the summit of Mt. Lady Washington from the Chasm trail junction. Those were in summer and the consensus was it was much harder than it looks. I saw another video where instead of going straight up, they went around toward the keyhole then went up to Lady Washington summit along a less severe slope.
Yeah, I came down following that much less steep ridge to the north. If it were more snowed in it would've been perfect with a good pair of snowshoes, but I doubt it ever gets that filled in.
We did Battle Mtn on 3.9.24 and it was a perfect day for us. We also used snowshoes the whole time too. I actually prefer the Longs Peak Trail in the winter, it makes for an easier trek imo
