    This is by far the most beautiful join I’ve found. It’s a strong connection, looks like an important design feature and is really easy. I’ll use this every time going forward. Very many thanks for sharing.

    I would really like to see up close which actual chain you go into at the very start and again when working the vertical line where the join goes under the horizontal row. The thing I particularly liked about your videos when learning to crochet in the past was you showed exactly which stitch or gap to go into with close up shots . Thanks.

    Love your work and your tutorials are so well done. Thank you. My only trouble was the captions, which are most important, but they blotted out the most impotant section -- the cross join on the corner of the second row of joins. I guess I got the gist of it, but I would like to have seen where the thread was coming from. Such a lovely join thank you very much for sharing.

    I really love this join. I know a few of my squares have an extra stitch or two. How would you compensate for there being a different number of stitches on the sides of the square when you line them up? It's probably a difference of 2-3 stitches, maximum. I want it to look good because the blanket is a gift. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    • @bellacococrochet
      @bellacococrochet  2 роки тому

      I think the great thing about crochet is that it's really forgiving, so if you skip a stitch here and there you probably will find that it's not noticeable. To be on the safe side I think I would skip in the corners of the squares 😊

    Excited to try this technique. Problem is, when I made my squares, I didn't use a 2-chain corner. I did 3 SC in each corner. I wonder if this will still work if I leave the centre stitch on my corners unworked?

    Thanks for this lovely join technique, I'm going to use it for my granny square blanket. I have a question though, for the corners, does it make any difference if we insert the hook into the chain or the corner space?

    • @bellacococrochet
      @bellacococrochet  2 роки тому

      You're welcome, I'm glad you like it 😊 If you can work through the actual chain stitches this will make the join look more consistent and neat, however it won't be too noticeable if you would rather work into the corner space instead.

  • @Ccolagirl

    I loveee your work! Can you answer me though? What do I do if I have a chain 1 in the corner? lol I guess I did my corner wrong?

    • @bellacococrochet
      @bellacococrochet  2 роки тому

      Thank you, I’m glad you like it! If you only have one chain in the corner you could just skip it and move onto the next stitch - the great thing about crochet is that it’s very forgiving, and it should work up looking the same 😊
