    Proud dad moment bro!! Your daughter did amazing. That’s a hell of a ride for someone who hasn’t ever been on terrain like that. Great lines and fearless when she needed to be. While other people are out there invested in the hustle- you’re out there living the dream investing in your kid. This is the way gents. This is so much more than a mtb video.

    Let's dig in..Your daughter focuses on control more than speed, as she should, and she's a great rider. She will get stronger with time and riding to tackle those berns more easily,yet it's good she keeps an eye on the terrain. You are giving her a gift that she will take with her through life as she becomes a woman by giving her goals and personal accomplishments to develop. The Marlin is an underrated bike as is the Roscoe to a point..

    Trail looks awesome man. Your daughter did really well on it too!
    I noticed you've used all your spacers in your r9 like me and plenty of others, must be the geometry of the bike. I've got 60mm riser bars on the way and new ergon grips, can't wait!

    • @drouleau
      @drouleau Рік тому

      I actually removed all the spacers on my Roscoe 9 and running 10mm rise bars lol

      @drouleau how tall are ya and what size roscoe?

      @@dopamine-87 I'm 5'7" and riding a size medium - I find I get a more balanced weight distribution with no spacers and a 10mm bar. I did try a shorter 35mm length stem because some people seemed to rave about that, but that really threw the balance off and didn't feel comfortable cornering, so went back to the 45mm length. Might try a 50mm length stem at some point. Oh and I have my bars cut down to 750mm as 780mm was too wide.

      @dopamine-87 Рік тому

      @@drouleau nice dude yeah i've also cut my bars down to 750mm
      I'm also 5'7" and have the size M but my back still feels a lil hunched over even with all the spacers on the stem.
      I think the 60mm riser bars with a 9 degree backsweep are gonna be awesome for me, i prefer to sit a little more upright

    • @drouleau
      @drouleau Рік тому

      @@dopamine-87 I'm a roadie (although funny enough I've only ridden my road bike once since getting the Roscoe nearly a month ago), so I'm used to handlebar drop lol. Even my gravel bike has 2 inches of drop from the seat to the handlebars. My Roscoe feels like I'm riding a beach cruiser in comparison, but with enough weight over the middle of the bike to aid handling/traction. When I ran the short 35mm stem and spacers, I noticed a reduction in grip in front, and the handling particularly sucked with the 35mm stem as the bike didn't feel balanced. I think my Race Face Next 35 carbon bars have 8 degree backsweep.....I'd prefer a little bit more actually for hand comfort (when my Bontrager bars were 780mm and with the stock grips, my hands were KILLING me).
