The other games crushed Levy's soul so much that by the end of the video he had already forgotten his epic 1600 guess.
He was also basically spot on with the 1100 game. One player was 750 but he can’t control if there’s a mismatch. They both played like 1100s in that game (and one is that rating). So he was like 1.5/5 which isn’t actually terrible
pls levy keep doing guess the elo episodes they are so funny and make us learn from our mistakes.
I actually had something similar to the first game happen recently. My opponent had king rook while I had king, but they didn't know how to finish it off. After dancing around for a while they resigned instead of offering a draw. A very undeserving W for me.

I appreciate that levy doesn’t promote bad mobile games but instead programs that can help his viewers develop good routines. Also i hate the bots as well so the segment regarding them was great especially to educate people that may not be as understanding

I can't get over that first game. White was a 1400 and managed to botch that king and pawn endgame...and in his internal furor...he actuates the resign button in a drawn game. I can't, I just can't... 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yep. I was wasting my time playing mostly blitz for a couple months and stupidly wondering why my rapid is not improving even when playing so many games. I switched to playing 30 minute rapid and now almost 1300.
Videos like this prove that anyone can be an ELO Guesser.

Whenever I see endgames like that 1st one, I have to go put it on the board and do it even tho I know I can. Plus I can always get better & make it auto. GTE makes me feel so good about my chess skills MOST of the time (not always). Maybe game 1 was a mercy resignation.

Hey Levy! There's actually an automated filter feature for youtube comments in UA-cam Studio. There, you can block any comments that contain certain words (like 'telegram', or stuff like slurs you don't want), and you can also preemptively block any comment that contains a URL. Most of the bots should fall into either of those categories, so it should solve the problem pretty well. Of course, the drawback is that now people can't legitimately use links or the word 'telegram', but I think that's a pretty small price to pay.
