That abe lincoln tomato is one of the best I've ever tasted! I luv luv luv sunrise bumblebee. I love to grow flowers for pollinators. Try holy basil (tulsi) and let it go to flower. Bees love it & so do hover flies. Hover flies eat the aphids

I absolutely love the trays from bootstrap farmer! I suggest that everyone tries them. You will never go back to the cheap ones. I have the pots but haven’t tried the tray inserts. I’m interested to see how they work for you. The chamomile is a perennial for me in 5b. It spreads slowly in a nice carpet.
Good to know about the chamomile! I am not sure either with the tray inserts, we will see and I will let you know for sure.
If you saw the # of seeds I have compares to my garden size you would not understand my looking at your haul and thinking man, I definitely need that. How did I miss that. I will say my flower seed game is week lol. Oh yeah, I am a fairly new gardener. I have no idea what I'm doing lol. Happy gardening!!!

Very enjoyable though, but I was so pleased to finally get them planted because they take a lot of looking after, don’t they? 🤣 and I am still going to get round to improving my IG skills. Promise! 😍

You can get hooked easily on starting plants from seeds, its such a rewarding feeling!
I grew a few varieties of nasturtium last year and the Bloody Mary were the only ones that did not do well when started inside. So I direct seeded the rest of the package in a window box….and holy moly!! They grew like crazy and were just stunning!!
What else did you plant with the nasturtium in the window box??
ELMA…in that window box, nothing but the Bloody Mary nasturtiums. I was so bummed that they didn’t germinate inside that I just dumped all the rest of the seed hoping they would come up. 🤣🤣🤣 They ALL germinated so there was no room to plant anything else!
But in another box, I planted pale yellow “Moonlight” nasturtiums with purple basil. And the combination was so lovely it stopped me in my tracks every time I walked by. ☺️

I ordered all three colors of the Queen Lime Zinnias. Can't wait to try them out. Thank you for your suggestion. Should I mix them or keep them separate. i was going to direct sow into the garden.

Oh, man, I am so not in the mood for seed starting, eventhough I was so proud of what I was able to do last year. I'm hoping everyone's seed videos get me motivated! I bought a bunch of cool tomato varieties for next year, so I at least need to get my ducks in a row for those!
You still have time for tomatoes, I was so sick last year for a while and when I wasn't I was taking care of my sick family, so I feel like I didn't quite enjoy my garden as much, priorities!

I was lucky enough to stumble across Bootstrap Farmer to begin with, a friend then gave me one of her trays and I was shocked at the difference in quality! Bootstrap is SO much better! I have also grown Kiss Me Over The Garden Gate, I ordered around 100 seeds because I heard it was difficult to get to germinate. I put down a layer of compost in five different areas, dropped the seeds on top, scratched the surface of the soil lightly, and only ONE came up in each area despite having planted twenty seeds in each. But they DID come up and they were beautiful....until the Japanese Beetles came. Sadly they seemed to be what attracted the beetles to begin with 😒😒
The quality of the trays from bootstrap is definitely HUGE compared to the ones you find at the hardware stores, I am HOOKED! Thank you for mentioning your experience with Kiss me Over the Garden Gate, I am excited to grow it and hopefully the japanese beetles go easy on them :/
