What lights are you using? :)

I have two kinds of lights one expensive and the rest are cheaper. Honestly I think they all work great so I would just get the less expensive ones. Here is the link:

The other one I have is a spyder farmer and it was expensive. I hope this is helpful. Thank you for watching:)

Tomato plants get huge and if they’re still inside when ur ready for the 5 inch pots, they will be actual small trees lol. Peppers need a heat mat to germinate unless ur keeping them in the house bc they like warm soil. I couldn’t tell if u had one. They also take longer than most everything else to germinate so have patience with them. Also, make sure ur growing long day onions bc of where ur located. If ur growing the wrong kind for ur area, they won’t do well and won’t bulb up. Good luck and happy gardening! 🥰🌻

Thank you for all your help. Yes I have a heat mat under my seedlings so fingers crossed they germinate. Does checking on them every 30 minutes help LOL. And yes, I am growing the correct type of onion. I planted Rossa Di Milano and New York Early both from Fruition seeds which specializes in varieties that grow well in the Northeast. They are out of NY upstate. Here's to a bountiful gardening season :)

@@capecodcottagegarden Yw! 🥰 Had to laugh (haha) at the checking them every 30 min bc I, too, did that when I first planted seeds. 😂 I’m in Tx, zone 8a, and I started my tomatoes and peppers in January bc our last frost date is March 27. Most of my peppers germinated a full 10 days behind my tomatoes, and my Italian pepperoncinis just sprouted yesterday. I almost gave up on them, but was going to give them the full 21 days to see if they came thru. I’m so glad u knew to get the right kinds of onions bc last year I didn’t and grew the wrong kind. It was so disappointing! Hope u have great harvests, and I will be watching as u post ur progress! 💞

@@loricawley54 Thank you! Ill try to be patient with the peppers. Can you believe when I got home from work today my Cosmos are about an inch tall they must have germinated today because they weren't there this morning. I planted them on Monday so they germinated in 48 hours!!! Crazy but fun. Give onions another try this year :)

@@capecodcottagegarden Oh, how wonderful to come home to little plant babies!! 😊🥰 I’m def planning to give onions another go here, and this time, I got the correct kind lol! I’m just going to direct sow them outside towards the end of Feb since I’m in Tx. My hubby built me some raised beds over the winter, and we’re installing the drip irrigation this coming weekend so after that, I will be ready to start direct sowing the things I can outside. So excited! 🌻

@@loricawley54 I really want to add drip too but for now we are focusing on building a critter proof fence around. my raised bed garden...Must be nice to have such a long growing season. Im zone 7a but its not the same as a zone 7 in a southern state, its still MA so we still can have a blizzard in April, rare but it happens.

    You can’t have enough pots.
