Bangkok to Tehran on Mahan Air - I had been wanting to visit Iran for many years, and it was a long process to finally get my visa and documents ready and prepared to finally visit. We flew directly from Bangkok to Tehran on Mahan Air, the best Iran Airline, and they surprised me with the biggest meal I’ve ever had on an airplane. #Iran #AirplaneFood #Airlines
Special thank you to Mahan Air for such amazing service and hospitality, for the fantastic flight, delicious airplane food, and warm welcome directly from Bangkok to Tehran. It was one of the most memorable flights I’ve ever taken in my life and an airplane flight that I’ll never forget.

Mahan Air staff exemplify the true hospitality and kindness of Iranian people. But y'all watching this video need to know three facts about Mahan Air. They are owned by the IRGC ( revolutionary guard ) which is the paramilitary force of Islamic regime with tens of thousands of innocent Iranian people blood on their hand. Second, they use the cover of commercial airline company to transport mercenary fighter, Iranian people's oil money and supplies to Bashar Assad in Syria and basically are the logistics arm of regime's terrorist activity in the region. Third, they had non stop flights to Wuhan, China early on and all throughout the covid crisis and are basically one of the main reason why Iran got hit with covid early on and very hard. Specially in the city of Qom which is right next to the airport and most of the airport workers are from there.

I have met once a family from Iran in Brazil. He worked at NASA as physicist. His wife, the most beautiful women I ever seen life, 2 great well mannered kids. We had 3 meals a day at the same table for a week. I never met such intelligent, cultural people in my life. I had impression that I sit at the table with true ancient aristocrats.
I’d love to visit Iran, but I live in the U.S. Although I was born in a different country, I’m still scared to go there. Hopefully one day our governments will come to senses and will let people make friends across our borders.

Its because its for TV to act like Iran is such an amazing place and the government treats them well. This airline smuggles tons of weapon for proxy wars in middle east. They didnt stop the flights to China either during the pandemic which lead to many deaths in Iran. I personally rather not support terrorism.

It was two years ago, my first trip to Tehran to visit my Iranian friend, her name is Zahra. I brought $1000 Singapore dollars for me to spend over there. And my gf insist me to stay with her and her family. So the second day , when I wanted to go out shopping for souvenirs, the market people knew that I wasn’t local because Zahra was telling them ‘ My Singaporean friend come to visit our country’ .. 🤣 in the end I’ve received a lot of free stuffs from the souvenirs shops. Brought back two huge bags full of gifts and Everyday is a feast. I’m very overwhelmed with all the free stuffs and food, my $1000 is still unused. They are very friendly and caring. And Mark Wiens have double confirmed that! Enjoy your Iran Trip!

I absolutely love Persian food.
The first time I was in a cockpit was on a Bangladesh Biman DC-10. I knew the Captain of Captains and he invited me to sit in the jump seat for most of the journey. It was an amazing experience.

Iran is a great country. I never knew it had so much to offer. I have put it on my bucket list. Thanks to Mike. This series got me subscribed to the channel and enjoying watching the rest.

As you live in Los Angeles (that Iranians used to call it Tehrangeles because of large number of Iranians living in Los Angeles) you certainly can try Iranian food in some restaurants belong to Iranians. Don't hesitate to try. I'll promise you will have a wonderful experience. Try this dishes: koobideh (beef kabab), fesnejoon (stew made of chicken, walnut and pomegranate juice), ashe reshteh (some sort of thick soup with noodles, herbs and beans) and tahchin (a rice dish with saffron, eggs and chicken fillets). Bon appetit!
Mark, you are in a league all by yourself brother. Congratulations on your achievements. The hospitality of the staff on Mahan-Air exceeded by far any airline I have ever flown on. They know how to make their guests feel extra special. This was absolutely great content, my friend. I enjoyed every minute of it. Stay safe and be well!

Iran airlines is underrated , it’s one of the best Mid East airlines.
Not at all. Emirates, Qatar Airways, Turkish Airways and Etihad are all better that Iranian airlines.
