Jeannie was always ahead of the times with her knowledge of self and growth and kept getting brushed off. I'm glad she stayed tru to herself and blossomed into her divine self
Yes!!! Honestly it was mostly bc of Tamar. Tamar was always shady towards Jeannie & the rest of them just followed her bc she has a very strong personality & I think her husband was a producer? Once Tamar left, then they started to listen to Jeannie’s wise words & Jeannie was easily one of our favorites!
So, Jeannie must be paying for comments too because in person views of her are completely different from online comments. Also, this is the one comment the real pinned? 🤔

I think they butted heads but tbh i never saw the dynamic of hatred from tamar that people mention. I think its the same as any friend group.
I do think jeannie's personality definitely changed drastically from the early seasons to the last 2. Even after tamar left it was the same but around the time when her and freddie divorced it changed. I dont know how to describe it.
Garcelle and Amanda were great additions to the show… but I tell you… this exact 5? absolute GOLD!! Each of them brought something special to the table and them together was something that you could not replicate. Miss these girls so much ❤️

I miss Tamara watching this. They looked so young here. Ten yrs goes by fast. Doesn't seem it's been that long. Missing them already. From marriages to divorces, to babys, to new co host, they literally have gone through so much through the past decade but they came out like diamonds. This show was necessary for women of color and these ladies. Wishing them the best and can't wait to see were life takes them. Lonnies so funny, always messing with them about their men, lol "what if I want to get ahold of Vincent."

Its honestly so crazy watching these women and how their lives have changed! From watching Tamar's relationship come to an end and her finding herself, Adrienne dating Lenny then finding love in Israel, Jeannie being married to divorced to married again with a beautiful baby (which she never thought she would have), Tamara's beautiful family flourishing, and Loni being happily single to happily with her white man. 😂 I love all these ladies and it has truly been a wonderful experience to have watched this show 💞

It's crazy to think these ladies were in totally different situations now than they were 9 years ago. Ade was with Lenny, Jeannie with Freddy, Tamar with Vince. Their lives really changed drastically on the show and they handled it well!

I can’t believe I was 13 when I started watching this show and now I’m 22. I just graduated from college with my B.S. and I’m emotional because I’ve been watching them through multiple milestones in my life.. 8th grade grad, high school graduation, first kiss, and now college graduation. I’ve laughed w them, cried with them, and I’ll miss this. Glad to say I was apart of this in real time.

You can witness the evolution through their dialogue and interactions. They have primed themselves in such a mature and loving way! It’s endearing. Their cohesiveness was always genuine.

I remember being a teenager and watching them and thinking “omg they all are married and living their lives” the amount of change and growth I’ve seen in all these women…. I’m so thankful to have watched them. Now I’m 26 & it gives me hope that I can meet the love of my life once it’s time. ❤️

It would've been cancelled earlier. They Overly talked about middle school/high school topics when Tamar was still on the show
I agree. 💯 The original 5 just had a great dynamic that couldn't be replaced, and even tho Tamar was extra and Team Too Much at times, she added that OOMPH the show needed (especially in the beginning and early years). If the show had started out with the 4 hosts that were left after Tamar left, it would have been TOO "politically correct" and boring, tbh. 🥴 Tamar added to the early success of the show, and she should have been kept on. Them getting rid of her ruined the original dynamic and all the changes they went through killed the show.
With only 4 of them it would have survived as well..if Tamera would have stayed

She was the bee's knees. I lived for her!! Her reactions, over the top personality was just what I didn't know I needed. I continued after her, but she for me was an iconic original for the show. Tamar, Jeanie, Adrienne and the rest. In that order

So bittersweet watching this. All of these ladies, Tamar, Tamera, Loni, Jeannie, Adrienne, all of them have grown so much come so far. I am so proud of what this show has accomplished. From breaking barriers to having diverse conversations, it's so amazing to see this show last for almost a decade! I hate to see this show be cancelled, and secretly hope for it to return somewhere down the line. But as they say, don't be sad because it's over, be glad that it happened. (Bravo!, hats off.)

I’ve loved this show, but rewatching this is like seeing it for the first time. There was such excellent chemistry. I forgot just how great Tamar was on this show.
It's the tears that keep flowing cause these ladies carried us through so many highs and lows. For the first time in a really long time,I felt seen and to have witnessed their growth over the years.. ahhh man we really had girlfriends on our TV....great additions over the years but these ladies and this era, ABSOLUTE GOLD. Wishing them nothing but the best because we are surely gonna miss them❤😢

Omg I remember when they were doing their pilot season but it wasn’t available everywhere yet. I was so mad because I loved me some Adrienne Bailon, Jeannie vanished when Style Network vanished and I was so surprised to see Tamera. I fell in love with almost all of the ladies.
Look at much they have evolved! From their hair and makeup, to their relationships and ideologies! This is great! I just wish they brought all of the hosts back together for the last episode.

I think Jeannie was on point and her comments truly aged well. Insecurity and lack of self confidence will keep you in unhealthy cycles in relationships and if you cannot trust him, maybe you should not date him. Y’all should’ve uploaded the full episodes from the test season! I remember watching them on UA-cam I believe right when they came out over the summer before The Real was picked up and THEN had a first “actual” season. Those episodes were great! I loved Jeannie’s black/blue hair she had at the time before she dyed it blonde once the show started. She had that hair color for a very long time though before The Real.
