whatever happened to teasdale? guy was a hammer
Life happened. He shares a similar story to greats such as the likes of Cary Kolat and Chance Marstellar who ended up leaving their first program. However, for Teasdale, not only was he discharged from Penn State, he did not compete for Iowa when he transferred. His story is still in the making. Comebacks, whether they involve battling on the mat or in life, are always better for the up and coming generation. Kolat and Marstellar sharing their struggles pulls more weight with young kids than any of their medals ever earned.
In the last 20 years, the PIAA has lost a lot of great wrestlers. Their battles off the mat were just too much. Being a champion can be a lonely battle. Everyone loves to see someone accomplish greatness and they revel even more watching the inevitable-...loss. You will lose in life eventually, on or off the mat. Nobody has full immunity. How these guys handle the L determines where they stand today.
