Love these older songs so much (and performances, the stage and vibe is so good)! I would love for them to make more music like this. Each one of them shines so well in this song. I love the sparse instrumental ending showcasing their beautiful vocals, and Suga going "hey hey hey" softly. Such a beautiful song.💜

Thank you for your reaction, John! Love that you are doing deep dives into their older songs; these are such gems and it's like we're rediscovering them. I can never get enough of the beautiful vocals and those melodic raps by the rapline. By this time I've seen the boys in a lot of Bon Voyage, Run BTS and In the Soop episodes to know confidently that they do not need to auto tune live. I leave it to you as the professional vocalist to explain why not technically, but they sound just as good singing while driving or even messing around. Authentic they have always been and will always be.

What really strikes me in their live performances is how WELL the vocal line balances against each other. They each have really different tones and production styles, but they LISTEN to each other to produce a smooth, balanced, blended sound.

Composer make the "melody" of the song on simple instruments .
Producer make the "beats", arrange the vocals with music. Audio mixing.

I love this song so much. I like the mature way their songs handle relationships - theres no targeted blame, just emotional honesty and longing. Their melodies are so beautiful too, really capture the emotions.
The autotune argument is ridiculous to me. The thing with haters is one minute they accuse of autotune, then next quick to point out their slight off notes that are normal when live singing and dancing. People are just miserable and will always pick something to downplay the member's amazing talents.

Always enjoy your actions, love how you nerd out over the music. This one reminds me a lot of House of Cards- the feel of the song, the lyric content and also the breathy notes you were talking about I'm pretty sure Jin does that in House of Cards too (House of Cards is one of my fave BTS songs!) I will definitely need to listen to this one more now as well 🥰
