  • Developed in partnership with Cardo, the leader in wireless communication systems, the Harley-Davidson Packtalk Edge premium headset features the latest generation of Cardo DMC (Dynamic Mesh Communication).
    With a one-mile (1.6km) rider-to-rider range and a DMC group range of up to five miles (8km), keeping the conversation going has never been easier or clearer. The universal Bluetooth® 5.2 intercom allows you to pair with any other Bluetooth intercom headset and the auto-reconnect ensures you don’t have to manually re-pair if you ride out of range from your group.
    The magnetic Air Mount system provides simple, easy, and secure magnetic mounting from the Packtalk Edge unit to the mount on your helmet. The over-the-air software updates allow you to use the Cardo Connect App to download and install the latest software directly to your Packtalk Edge, no cables needed. The headset is waterproof and will not be damaged in the rain and features 40mm JBL speakers for excellent audio quality.
    H-D Exclusives: VOX “Voice-Operated Exchange” functionality between the rider and passenger H-D headsets leverage A2DP protocol to provide superior wide band communication for improved call quality and enhanced Voice Recognition (VR) experience Integrated vehicle volume control with headset control.
    Up to 13 hours talk-time and 10 days stand-by charge. Charging time up to 2 hours for full charge. Fast Charging for 2 hours of talk after 20-minute charge.
    Fits most Harley-Davidson full face and 3/4 helmets. Also compatible with half helmets with separate purchase(s) of Packtalk Edge/Line Half Helmet Kit P/N 76001386. Designed for use with Skyline OS infotainment systems. Not optimized for Wireless Headset Interface Module (WHIM) use for models equipped with Boom! Box GT/GTS Radios.

    I'm confused right out of the gate, I haven't even gotten to the bike paring yet. I bought a set of the Harley Packtalk edge units from a HD Dealer. I connected the first unit to my phone, no problem. It updated the software just fine. I turned on the second device, it will not connect to the phone at all. I turned off the first unit, and the second one never connects. If I turn them both on, they connect to each other and I can share music between the units. However, without connecting the second unit I can't tell what software version is on it, and it won't update. I connected it to the PC and downloaded their update app. Connect the unit to the PC and it says this unit is not compatible to update via the PC. The instructions are garbage. There is no information on the proper way to set up two units. My ultimate goal is to connect it to the Harley Boom Box and get Apple Car play to work on the Boom Box, as well as stream music from my phone. Reading all these comments it sounds doubtful that this will work. (2024 Ultra Limited)

    Too bad that between the driver and passenger, once hooked up to the Skyline, the intercom (VOX) and voice commands do not work. Harley Davidson Assistance does not respond to solve the problem. Do not do as I did.... do not throw away over € 900.
