My transit visa for Russia was only valid for 7 days, so I'm blasting through Russia. This is already the last full day in Russia before I'm crossing the border into Georgia. Basanti and me are closing in on the mountains and are looking forward to curvy roads and stunning scenery!

What I have learned watching your channel is that the vast majority of people the world over are helpful and friendly. We allow politicians to tell us their stories and we allow propaganda to fuel our fears. People like you show the truth of it. A woman, alone, on a bike? If the world is so bad how is this possible? It does not depend on Russia, Europe has abandoned the visa - free regime on the orders of the United States, and they are putting pressure on Russia.
My dear Russia is a not a closed county, apply, get a tourist visa to come and enjoy... Russians are not getting on arrival visa to Canada so Canadians also not getting on arrival visa to Russia that's all..

@@sergius0202 Русский язык - государственный. К тому же добавляются языки республик, как например, в Башкортостане - башкирский язык и русский язык. В Республике Алтай - алтайский и русский. В Татарстане - татарский и русский. Можно перечислять и дальше, все 24 республики, но ни в одной из них нет английского языка, как государственного. Так что, знание английского абсолютно не нужно в обыденной жизни. У кого есть желание - здорово. У кого нет - ещё "здоровее")

Love Russia- was there last summer and want to go back many times and explore many different parts of it!
Elista which you passed is in Kalmykia and it's the only majority Buddhist region in Europe, it's one region I would really like to go to, and the Caucasus region in genera. I did go to Sochi which is near the Caucasus, but yeah.
Also want to go to the Asian side of Russia because I was only in the European side.
And Russians are super-friendly, not all like the stereotypes that unfortunately exist in the West!

Россия самая лучшая и красивая страна в мире. Самые добрые люди.
Этот маленький городок где вы проехали по лесу называется Пятигорск, я тут живу. Очень интересно как вы ехали по местам где мы гуляем пешком. Красивое место где вы пили кофе это парк Цветник😊 А кафе где обедали это шашлышная которую я проезжаю ежедневно когда встречаю жену с работы буквально в 100 метров направо, хотя вы поехали налево по улице Теплосернная на выезд из города. Наш город очень красивый и я счастлив что живу здесь!!

@@nonamenoname146 хватит, до 70% территории России не используются для проживания. В Сибири вообще только одна большая дорога, которая разделяется на две, на Магадан и на Хабаровск. Длинная только очень.
Ну ничего, китайцы себе возьмут, построят дорог хороших новых разных.

Been to Russia twice 20 and 30 years ago mostly Moscow, St Petersburg, Kazan but not in the country sides except for some overnight train rides. A beautiful, fascinating ,very interesting history and culture. The people were very nice and accommodating...nothing like one would hear from the propaganda.
And actually in 20 or even 30 years its changed a lot in here.
But something "ethereal" - not at all.
Yes, people in Russia are good and helpful. But our "ruler" is absolutely awful and propaganda is brutal terrible. I think there is a bad opinion in Europe and USA about Russia because of putin's regime only. Now he destroyed our lives too, not only lives of Ukraine people. But I hope, that we will be able to change this situation, I don't know how, but I hope! I want good politicians, because our country is really interesting, rich, beautiful and different, and I want to see it in better condition and more friendly. It needs only in good politicians.
The best time in Russia was between 2010-2013. It's a pity you didn't have time to look at great changes, and we didn't have time to live in it normally. Putin has destroyed everything that people have been creating for the last 30 years.

Лол, да я когда жил на севере у нас было нормой скататься за продуктами и в кино 90км в одну сторону, а не которые в отпуск каждый год ездили по 3-4 тыс километров на машине в одну сторону 😂
150 км я вообще считаю ни о чем, это недалеко для нас, для Россиян😂

Да, хватит кататься на маленькие расстояния, приезжайте в Казахстан. И не пропускайте заправки (а может и канистру небольшую бензина возьмите, для подстраховки) Расстояния увеличатся. Главное не зимой приезжайте. Зимой опасно.

Hey Noraly. I think I saw a few mentions about it before, but I will say it again. Unfortunately, in Russia google maps are not that good. We have our own maps companies which do their job much better due to the market. As it was mentioned Yandex maps works great here. I hope your trip was fun. I really hope that we left a good impression on you and please return at some point =) We have a big country with a lot of beautiful places, good forests, great mountains, and superb lakes =) Ride safe!

Самое важное, что 90% населения, очень дружелюбны, особенно к приезжим и иноязычным. Пытаются вспомнить школьные уроки по английскому и стараются помочь. Очень приятно.

It was Caucasus. Only small part of Russia. You can't judge the whole country by only that small part. Because Russia is HUGE. Absolutely, incredible huge.

Noraly, if you’d bought some ears of corn at the roadside stand, you could have placed them in aluminum foil on Basanti’s engine to be engine-roasted. Super delicious when fresh!
I stopped at that motel this june too during my vacation from Osetia to Dagestan :) Vladikavkaz is a super place to stop and see all the mountains around from Balkaria to Ingushetia, Karmadon, Fiagdon. We stopped for 4 days and saw all that places, it was amazing!

Лучше всегда пару-тройку раз ездить по новым местам. Первый раз слишком много внимания к поиску пути, поэтому второй раз самый приятный, больше созерцания(кто понимает кайф от путешествий)
