There is an unspoken rule. The harsher the conditions (desert, frost, humid forests, etc.), the less electronics you should have in your car. In such conditions, everything should be based on the usual mechanics. This reduces the chance of a breakdown and increases the opportunity to fix it yourself with a wrench and swear words.

Actually, those trucks might be way newer than the 60's.
They just don't change their design, otherwise they won't work in these conditions. They have to be simple and durable. Otherwise if something breaks and you can't fix it, your only hope is if help arrives ... IF.
My favorite series. Love the worlds most dangerous roads documentaries.
Here we go again. Thankyou FD
I would love to do the old Siberia road from the start to the finish in a 4x4 group . All that snow and ice and what fun you can have driving and what an experience . And I would like to drive all over the outback in Russia . I think that some of the Russian people are like us Scottish people we are all of our heads . And would do anything like this
You would... Can I come along?
@@lanaharlow2515 if you like lol I would need to win the lottery first

The courage of these men in facing these challenges in this cold Russian territory of SIBERIA is incredible, it is a difficult OPPOSITE comparable to our AMAZON, which is extremely rainy and hot to burn the skin. Congratulations to these trailblazers who are preparing future paths for the new generation. 👏👏👏👏👏👏

An excellent documentary and thoroughly enjoyable watch.
It's like watching an adaptation of snow runner, but more intense... Very interesting
Ive worked with Russian guys and they are tough as nails it's in their DNA .respect from an Englishman London Uk
🤝
the irony of humanity, or perhaps this is a gift for those that have to struggle, or a curse for those who do not have to struggle. i for one choose struggle, as it keeps me strong, at least that is what i tell my self
I look forward to this each week
Those trucks seem indestructible !
At their age they pretty much are

I LOVE THE BUS ATTACHED TO THE TRUCK, ITS BEAUTIFUL
Truly courageous, skilled & talented people. Give me them any time over most of western countries.
by this video i feel so lucky live in a country without snow and extreme wather.
Hope all of you are okay there in Russia ✌🏻
@@ManakovYuriy Glad to hear it, my wife and I are from UK and we love Russia (went to Moscow a few years back, fabulous) Please remember we are not all followers of our corrupt western governments.
