      @@hammerdon1962 Well, they’re not getting punished, are they? So I’m pretty sure excited is exactly how I should feel.Also,“greatest tank job in history”? A bit of an exaggeration there. @@TriceOfficial the reason why Victor may have issues with the Rockets is that this roster is full of young players who all want to show off with absolutely no collective discipline. In such teamn, Victor will not only do less individual stats but also will have no perspective of winning playoff series for several years. I don't think there will be such issues with any other bottom ranked team.

    I'm an ASVEL fan so I have seen Wembanyama play that season. He's a freak of nature BUT the one thing to bear in mind is that he's also very much prone to injuries, he missed a lot of games. The Euroleague/French league calendar is comparable to the NBA (ASVEL played over a 100 games that season), could be an issue. His move to a smaller club was him making sure he would get more minutes on the floor and also play less intensive games.
    He's going to be great...as long as he remains healthy.

    • @TriceOfficial
      @TriceOfficial  Рік тому +1

      No doubt, his health could honestly single-handedly decide his career path. I don't think there's any question he has the skill and is on the trajectory to live up to the hype, but as with any star player, it all hinges on his ability to stay on the court. Hoping for a long and healthy career!

    • @emmanuelbertho6251
      @emmanuelbertho6251 Рік тому +2

      He missed a lot of games in ASVEL but that was normal for a 17 year old kid facing grown men in a a season with too much games. This season shows he is not injury prone if coaches manage him the right way.
      The main reason he chose Mets is that he needed to develop his skills which wasn't able with a big schedule such as ASVEL had/have. He made the right decision joining a team that could offer him to have time to progress.
      With ASVEL, he would have had to take planes every 3/4 days, not allowing him enough time to develop as shown his year in Lyon. Their goals simply did not coincide.
      I still don't understand why he would be more in danger than other players in NBA. When looking at injuries along past years, you don't need to be a big guy to get one that end a season early.

      @@blurredFR Why not? It had the same concern about Zion Williamson becoming number 1 pick and today we are seeing why...I’m not concern because I’m negative I’m just saying something that could be a problem just like Zion but with a different body type, I hope not he will never get injured just like I hope for Zion for the rest of his career but Wemby need more pounds in his frame to become a legendary player in NBA, I’m not sure if he is strong like KD or Porzingis and even these players had injuries...he is above 7 feet but he will face opposition with a lot of 7 footers and 6’10, 6’11 guys that are more heavy, stronger, he can’t rely only on his outside game, he need to go inside the paint too...he need to get stronger and get a similar body like Giannis for example, he can’t only rely on inches above the rest, he is a giant but NBA already had and have giants, how many of them succeed without injuries?! But he is a versatile giant....yeah of course nothing new, porzingis is a giant, same with KD, what Wemby can bring to the table in his game different from these players?! He need to be more athletic than these players, he need to become a Giannis body type in a 7’4 frame with outside shooting, that would be special, a strong guy, athletic, that would be dominant and different...without that his just a Skinny versatile giant injury prone.

    • @blurredFR
      @blurredFR Рік тому

      @@Piairom Wow that's a lot of writing. Having the same physique as Giannis? ahah that's unrealistic, he couldn't play the way he does. Stop acting like all the players need Giannis physique. If he has a solid body like a Gobert or a Sabonis he will be alright. He evolves from day to day physically, he is just a kid. It's a process, it doesn't come overnight. All the players could deal with injuries, it is not something you can controll like that. You're talking about Zion injuries but isn't he that strong phisically ? He's still 22, his career is just beginning. You all being toxic with Wemby, he is thin we understood

      @Piairom Рік тому

      @@blurredFR Im not toxic with Zion either, just a lot of concern thats it, he doesn't play with knee and ankle protection after a bad injury and i think Wemby need to have that kind of protection also, his body is very thin for his height he need protection, thats it or you will only witness greatness a couple of games, same with Zion, he was considered next Lebron and now he is turning into a new Shawn Kemp kind of player i dont want Wemby to become a new Ralph Sampson!

    In europe all basket ball players can shoot. The emphasis is can you shoot a basketball? not blocking or playing defense but actual knowing how to shoot. If Wembe was not a shooter he would not make it into europe basketball. BUt in America he would be taught how to block and play defense with no emphasis on shooting. Thats why you see a bigman like wembe able to shoot so good. In America many BB players can not shoot a basketball especially the big men. If they can get away with it they can be good dunkers like shaq or just play defense.
