- Jake the Snake Roberts was not fond of his boss in WCW. Remember when Jake jumped ship from WWF in 1992? He was supposed to get a very lucrative contract...that is until Bill Watts stepped in. Bill (former wrestler) ran the very successful Mid-South Wrestling for many years and had a history with Jake the Snake Roberts. But what we didn't know is how bad the contract situations were behind the scenes. Jake also reveals that top guys like Sting and the Steiner brothers were also targets. The funniest response I ever heard a wrestler give Watts when he tried to cut a talent's pay was Brian Pillman, who when Watts threatened to job him out just said "Fine, I'll be the world's highest paid jobber".

Bill watts said the contracts were too high the wrestlers wer being paid too much and even paid for not even wrestling Eric bishoff said the same thing,even said Brutus beefcake was being paid for sitting at home that was done as a favor to hulk Hogan,wcw was paying everybody even jobbers top dollar that couldn't continue and the company profit.
It's strange that the man who pushed Simmons, Ladd and JYD, as top babyfaces could be racist.

People have proof If it were criminal court or civil court, the decision would be adjudicated on the side of the plaintiff, simply because everything (evidence) brought against these folks was 'beyond a reasonable doubt' or by the 'preponderance of evidence'. I don't know if I believe Cowboy Bill Watts was racist. His top star in Mid-South was black (JYD), and while in charge of WCW, Ron Simmons became the first black World Heavyweight Champion. Would those opportunities exist under the charge of a racist for those guys? Who knows?
