Baroness is one of my top favorite characters. i have to admit that i enjoy the Cobra characters more than the Joes. The voices of Cobra Commander, Destro and Baroness crack me up. i always enjoy their screen time.
@@BestowTV Yet there was only one man who did more Charachters than anyone else in both GiJoe and Transformers. and that was Chris Latte who did both the Hero and Villan roles for both series.
What I remember most about The Baroness, she would be talking in a normal voice (for The Baroness) and then end the sentence in a yell, kinda like my mom did. "I'm not going to tell you again, TAKE OUT THE TRAAASH!!!!" "You have five minutes BEFORE YOU MISS THE BUS, GET DRESSED!!!!!" Baroness was either in sultry voice mode, or angry as f*** mode. Not even Harley Quinn (Batman Animated series) can compare to how unique and well done The Baroness's voice was. Thanks for sharing this gem!
That may sound good on paper unfortunately some of the original cast members have retired and dome’s voices have just changed a lot due to age. So many may not fit their character anymore, and goes without saying there’s only been one good G I Joe movie and the rest sucked.
Very good. People these days bitch about equality and weak female figures in media, yet here in the 80s we had strong female characters that felt natural, not forced.
What about Scarlet she was Sexy AF as well. Scarlet and Baroness are a 10 and I would have a Archie moment trying to decide between the two as the Baroness would be Veronica and Scarlet would be Betty. Lady Jaye would be a high 6 though.
I grew up at a time, when they treated cartoons as if only 4 year olds were watching them, like Superfriends for example! Back then, you had a narrator, you had characters like Wendy , Marvin and Wonderdog,..which was a dog with no powers, and the dog wore a cape! (Totally unless characters)! Nor were they ever funny! Then finally, came shows like G.I. Joe and Transformers! For once, the voice cast got real! They didn't sound like they were just reading lines! Take for example, the scene of Duke trying to remember the Cobra location, and all the G.I. Joe guys see the slave girl on screen, (then you hear the guys...oh and ahh, ..man, how could you forget a face like that)?! That's real, relatable lines, that guys watching at home can relate too! The Baroness, also had a sexy vibe! It was a great era, and they finally didn't treat us, like we were 4 years old!
I can agree with this. Even more so with (some) modern cartoon where they tackle more adult subject matter. I loved the Renagades reboot (I caught it years later and it wasn't on my radar until we interviewed Jeff Kline). It was a more adult take on the Joes, but still relatable to kids as well.
@@BestowTV For me, the original G.I. Joe was the best! The ones that came after, just didn't work for me! Then to make matters worse, ...to get all excited over a wish come true (or so I thought)...we finally get a live Transformer and G.I. Joe movie...only to find out, their nothing like the cartoon ever was! When I saw the G.I. Joe movie, the only thing that excited me, was seeing a parked Cobra Raven outside of a mountain! It was the only thing besides Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow that seemed to match what was from the cartoon! And Transformers.... aren't even recognizable!...But that's because I'm old school!
@@mrg466 Well To be fair they did get the original voice actors (Minus the late Chris Latte)to reprise their roles. Though with the newer Transformer cartoons adding Jeffery Combs to the Voice acting lineup worked alot.
Where the animators taking visual cues from the voice actors? Because a lot of them vaguely look like their characters. Its a little creepy actually. If you look at the guy who played flint and also Lady Jay, they also vaguely look like their characters. I honestly believe the animators were adding some of the voice talents characteristics to the animations. Either via photographs or something.
i would say no. Russ Heath did character sketches and then actors were cast. Really, the only character that vaguely looks like the actor is Lady Jaye. None of the other actors look anything like their characters.
I would love to see Michael Bell, Peter Cullen, and Samantha Newark do a guest panel, together. Duke, Optimus Prime, and Jem, together for the 1st time!
That baroness voice is the greatest stuff i ever heard, i can never get enough of it

She done a great job I miss good old days
Agreed.
They should get the remaining voice actors together and do a new mini series. Use the same animation style and sound effects. Fans would LOVE IT
That is not a bad idea! Some came back and reprised their voices in the TV series Community.
OMG shut up and take my money!
At least assemble them for recording sessions and have cameos on as many mature animated shows as possible!

Which one is considered the good movie?
Meet your heroes kids. Morgan is amazing to talk to! :)
Agreed! Morgan is one of my top favorite person we've interviewed!
lol. The Baroness was sexy AF by design, but the over the top voice acting cranked it up another few degrees. Well done!
@ContelBradford Indeed!
Baroness 😍
"Destro, darling, do you hear bells?!!
I've never seen or heard her do an interview before, so I lost of a bit of the mystique here, but she was great to listen to. One of the best.
Awesome. I'm glad you liked it.

Yes!!! I wish that the women behind the animation were celebrated more going years back though.
agreed... Robotech had female leads, Ripley from Aliens... some really good role models.
Queen! Er, I mean, Baroness!!! 🖤❤️🖤❤️🖤
Long live the Baroness!
1:44 They probably said "imagine you are Natasha trying to get Moose and Squirrel."
Boris: Please, Natasha. This is kiddie show.
Mogan Lofting Guested On Streethawk! On ABC. She Played A Supreme Court Judge, It Was Brief But Memorable, ML Was Great As The Baroness! Too.
And the 1983 comedy with Joe Don Baker in it called “Joysticks”.
This was great. Thanks for this.
Thank you. Please subscribe and check back for more.
I'll put the Baroness up there with Jessica Rabbit as hott cartoon femalea

She still Got it.

Perfect!
“Destro darling”

Hard to say. The art for the comic and toy line most likely existed before the cartoon rolled out. So in this instance it may not be true.

I want her to cameo in the upcoming G.I. Joe origins: Snake Eyes movie :)
We all do.
Does she mention or talk about Chris Latta?
I wish she did as Chris put the most effort into all the charachters he did for the show and there was quite a few he did voice.
She plots big trouble for moose and squirrel
This is so cool.:)
Thank you. GI Joe fan?
Oh, most definitely! I still watch the old episodes on a moderate basis. It's always cool to find things like this.
Voice of baroness terrifying to audience like villains of cobra empire
Meaning she is doing very well at her job.
