Atheists usually don't want to Hear the answers. There were a few questions he asked, where he didn't give him a chance; especially when he questioned Ray about the creation. He even said, you're not going to answer, let's move on
"Question 3"... as far as the question about poor people praying more than the rich people? I think it's because when you have everything they need, they don't feel the need for prayer, which is why I believe they need prayer more than the poor! Poor people generally pray all the time, when things are tough and when things are easy... they pray to thank HIM for HIS Grace and Mercy, for all they receive!

Usually atheists (when utterly destroyed like this guy was) will ask you a question and then cut you off when you try to answer it. If your answer does not fit their narrative then they "cancel" you and not let you speak. Ray, you did an AWESOME job here. Keep up the good work for the lost and ignorant like this guy. That's what atheists do all the time. They've done it to me so that they could get an answer out of me that would cause me to deny God's existence through my own answer to their question. They always claim that Christians are making the strawman arguments and tactics yet they are the very ones doing that.

To be honest, I could have given better answers for his questions than Ray did, but the atheist still seemed pretty upset over Ray’s answers. He must not be one of the intelligent atheists people are always talking about.

Ray, I’ve been a slave to my flesh for a very long time. Been addicted to lust and pornography and the pleasures of the world. Listening and watching your videos have put the Gospel in an easy and comprehensible way to understand it. Since then I’ve become a slave to the Spirit. I’ve given up pornography and in a sense cut off my right arm. It was by the Spirit speaking through you that helped convict me of my sin and cause me to turn to Jesus for the solution. For the first time in 8 years I haven’t watched pornography in a week. Glory to Jesus!
That's awesome!! I have gone down the long hard road of addiction, and I know you can beat it..it is possible! It's very hard in the beginning but it does get easier..you start picking up steam and getting stronger as more time goes by..I had times where temptation would be so great, I had to immediately stop what I was doing and pray..God would then slowly begin releasing that temptation, that burden..when I was weak, He was strong..remember that always =) God bless

I think many struggle with this. You're not alone brother. Hang in there and know that God will never leave you nor forsake you. Give Him time to change you and Don't be discouraged if you fail a million times. Never give up, and never give in. He wouldn't actually let Roy answer the questions. I've noticed this whenever I have an argument with somebody who does not know as much as I know on a given subject. When I start to make a point that's very difficult to dispute, they start interrupting me, talking over me and shouting me down. Is it fear or ego or the demons that hover about, gaining the upper hand in that person? I don't know but it reminds me of the statement that "there are none so blind, as those who WILL not see" these people do not want to hear or to have others hear views that disagree with their own. They feel very threatened evidently but of what? Sometimes it's uncomfortable to find our idea about something is wrong but it shouldn't be so uncomfortable that we are willing to be wrong for the sake of not being influenced by any other perception. It seems like a kind of vanity like "this is MY idea and it's equal to yours regardless of its foundations or source, because I have a Right to believe whatever I want to believe!!!"
My view is that we need to be willing to question our beliefs in order to discern our motives for choosing that belief.
We have to have beliefs because they form essentially the foundation for all understanding and all choices we make in life. Consciousness requires a foundation to be functional.( I make this point because there are people who have a belief in "no beliefs" and can't see the idiocy of this assumption because " no beliefs" IS a belief). I can understand striving honestly to evaluate our beliefs with some objectivity about the effects they produce in our lives. That seems like an intelligent way to get the necessary information to determine the soundness of a belief. And interestingly it coincides with what Jesus said about the most important criteria of discernment..." by their works, you shall know them" that is the beauty of things said by our Lord Jesus, the Exquisite truth which is ever revealed in those precious words. Eternal Verities.
Atheists live in a quarrelsome Babble of incessant points and counterpoints, each struggling for its place in the hierarchy of their opinions. They consider all this mental noise is evidence of superior intelligence. It appears to me like self-inflicted confusion.
It's also funny that the atheist brings up Nature! as the source of all creation, as though Nature was a known entity, more than God. Yes the atheist does so with no sense of irony while believing his atheism is a quantifier of his Superior intelligence.
I have friends and relatives who are atheists meaning that they are people whom I love. Many of them are very smart however they been exposed to the same shaming many of us experience for believing in God and they have not found the answer for themselves to stand up to the ridicule and treasure their recognition of the abundant evidence of God's existence.
Mind Heart Soul Amen to that. Honestly when atheists credit everything to “nature” or use the term “The Universe” in the replacement of God, they are literally just forcefully avoiding God with language. Atheists just write off everything as a coincidence. From things as small as cell organelles to things as great as the cosmos, we see logic, order, consistency and mathematics all through. Everything in this universe is a system, from the things in our bodies to what we call our solar system. We see more and more, that this universe has many factors that make life possible, put together in the perfect sizes, orders, distances and conditions. Atheism really is foolish, but since it is the foundation of education systems, we have made it appear wise. We see atheist scientists constantly arguing with each other because they are realizing they’re all wrong, but we don’t speak about it. And The Axis of Evil is a proven scientific thing no school teaches about, because scientists have admitted it “concerns” them. It has to do with temperature fluctuations in space that indicate a special direction that points to Earth, which would make the location of Earth, and the planet Earth, special in the universe. It implies that our planet is intentionally the way it is on purpose, which contradicts the Copernican Principal that came from the Big Bang. The Axis of Evil is called evil only because it’s a problem for modern science. To say the possible existence of a Intelligent Designer of the universe is “evil” just shows the bias and agenda of science. Science itself isn’t evil; it’s created by God, but the big parts that we have learned have been twisted to suit the devil’s needs. Atheists are in denial, and scientists openly prove that.

"Christians don't pray five times a day", wow. Many of the ones I know pray all day long. The guy asking the questions has no knowledge of Christians to make such a statement. He has a pre conceived view, that is not founded on facts, knowledge or wisdom. That is sad.

If you believe Ray didn't know what was meant by indoctrination then you are as gullible as he is. Ray knew exactly what the question was and sit right there and lied and acted like he didn't know what indoctrination meant. I responded to a different video of his recently, and was going back and forth with somone from living waters. I commented that i was sorry if i had offended the person and you know what? Thats when the comments stopped. They didn't even respond to say they werent offended or they understood, nothing. Seems Christians only want to try and convince people to believe in their religion and nothing else.
Matthew Ward he knew the one asking the question didn’t even know what he meant so he wanted him to explain clearly the one who asked the questions had no idea what he was talking about and couldn’t stand hearing the truth that’s why he kept saying next question the truth hurts and Christians tell everyone about the religion because it’s not a religion it’s the cure to death and the truth so why would you not want to know is the question it would be pretty wrong if we kept it to ourselves and watched people who don’t understand go to hell we tell people because we care

What I saw was the pastor was rejecting the reasons why the questions were being asked. The interviewer let him off way too easy - maybe because the interviewer didn't have enough intellectual prowess to take on such a task.

If you were taken to court for a murder that you say you didn't commit and the prosecutor asks,"Why did you kill so and so" Saying,"Because..." is the same as saying you did it. Even if it isn't the truth. All he did was not answer a false question. Questions are often asked with the intent to hear an answer, yet that clearly wasn't the case here. He wasn't told what he wanted to hear(answers in a timely fashion) so he ignored it.
I think many of us are forgetting how much we could relate to the way he's acting, but maybe it's just me.
Although, i'm working on myself everyday, at times I can still get the way Bruce is getting in this video. And I think there's a lot of people that know what i mean by that.
Anyway, just try not to forget, if you were once lost and searching for answers, it is a frustrating place to be.
@@Ze_Chevalier I can't relate to someone who asks a question without the intent to wait for an answer. Why even ask if you don't want an answer? If I ask a question, I don't care if it takes you an hour or a day to explain it. If you're willing to answer, I want my question answered. If you're confused by something, and truly want to understand it, the amount of time it takes for the answer to come is not something that can daunt you.

Good job Ray. Many times people "ask" questions with no interest whatsoever in the answers. They don't want to know. They only want to continue in darkness; pridefully and arrogantly proclaiming what they believe and unwilling to hear the Truth. God personally has to pierce their dead hearts and turn on the light bulb. That is why it is so important for true believers to pray for them since if God doesn't show up then no effort of man will work.
Science is their God! If a scientist says it, it must be true! I watched four minutes of this man trying to sound intelligent by not allowing Ray to talk and never listening to his answers. His pride and lack of knowledge will be why he will perish. All mankind has had to come to the point of believing or denying. To trust or not too. Those who were wise chose to trust and believe in Jesus and his finished work on the cross and called upon him. The rejectors wonder what makes them so believing? Because when they put their trust in Jesus Christ and called upon him for forgiveness of sin, he came into their heart and changed them. He builds a personal relationship with them. And we want others to know the Lord so they too can have that relationship and eternal life. Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. But some wont shut up and listen. Or study the scriptures with a open mind. Some will read it just to belittle it, and God sees their heart and will not give them truth until their heart is seeking for the right reasons. God gives man a choice, and their is consequences to his choice. Because where he is its holy and no sinner can inherit his kingdom but, those washed by the blood.
Free will comes to mind God WILL NOT force himself on anyone. In my own thoughts and opinion if he softens said persons heart would that not interfere with this person's free will? Perhaps my thoughts and opinion is wrong though I am only human too.

And someone knocked on your door, and you charged it with anger and yelling and opened the door and a person standing there said I have this free gift for you, your attitude would change and you would think why? And they said I love you. That is what christ did. He knocks on your door some scream go away, some are angry and answer, some just want to seek him. It is a free choice to receive it or not. I am not good at analogies but I was just trying to show you, we are hit on every side by the influence of others. Growing up a kid wants to fit in and be cool, until they realize that was the biggest mistake they ever made and led them down a road of pain and heartache. Not seeking the Lord and dying in sin will be the biggest mistake of eternity. He offers the only way to eternal life. Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life. I hope I helped. My main point I was trying to get across is that it's like an person who has an issue with alcohol ONLY they themselves don't see or understand yeah I have a problem. In a similar fashion If they continue to deny the existence of God they will never seek him, thus never EVER find him just as the alcoholic doesn't think there's an issue of alcoholism in his life. I was hit by a drunk driver one day and left to die. Long story short I was found and here I am, I pray that the guy that did it was sober long enough that God seared his conscience to cry out to him. Bless you

The whole point was to make statements of accusations in the the form of a question then not allow Ray to answer.

True Atheist tactics. Like the "question", "Exactly when did I stop beating my wife?" The question assumes I have ever beaten my wife, which is a false truth claim. "Facts" may be true or false in a world where people Lie. Christians do not lie; we reserve the term "fact" for things which are demonstrably true. This causes all kinds of communication problems between those who love the light and those who love the darkness.
I can see God's work on Ray just because of his patience
It would be better to see an actual god instead of a man who claims to speak for a god that never reveals himself.
I watch Matt Dillahunty on his radio show.
His entire head, down to his neck looks pale until he starts talking with ppl, then as he starts getting riled up he gets red.
and, he does yell and uses foul language alot.

I used to be an Atheist, and I was incredibly rude to my Christian colleagues and friends. I lost many of them due to my behaviour. I don’t blame them one bit either. One thing I will say however, is that despite my arrogance I did in fact allow them to speak. I may not have listened, but I gave them an opportunity to answer my questions and refute the points I made.
I have recently accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior, and I feel happier with my life now than I ever could have imagined. God bless you all.

@Linda Dill In the interview it showed how some athiests truly don't want God to exist. Otherwise he wouldn't try to cut Ray off everytime Ray was about to tell him the truth. It's like when a teenager raises the volume on their music to drown out their parents voice, childish behavior in my opinion.
I have a friend who’s an atheist and acts just like this guy. It’s very hard to have patience with them, especially when they bring their perceived “intellectual superiority” to almost every conversation.
With people like this, words mean nothing. You could give them the perfect answer to every question and they would not accept it. It’s because it’s an issue of their heart, so the only thing you can do is show them Jesus with your actions. The more we are like Jesus, the more miracles can be produced.
Proverbs and Psalms is dead-on when it described fools, it did in a way as how you described your Atheist friend as well as Ray's.
I feel like it's fair to not take a statement like "We use science to prove gods existence - a building cannot build itself, and painting cannot paint itself..."

I like that they are friends. It is rare that you will argue or debate a person with a hard heart into heaven. Prayer, and love, softens a hard heart and, being there in compassion in a time of need. "They will know you by how you love".
I definitely think he was rude, but here's the wonderful part, Ray you showed the true power of being a Christian ! Being slow to speak, and listening, being gentle, not getting angry, just being a true example of having the fruits of the spirit. If you TRULY believe that you will know them by their fruits, then you must admit that even a Witch who leads people to Christ have fruits.

I have a "friend" like that too. Extremely rude and disrespectful. He says absolutely terrible things about Jesus, God, Mary and others. He justifies it by saying "You're too easily offended". I told him I could respond just as vile, but it's not who I am anymore, praise to God!

We are made a new creation through Him, when I receive Jesus Christ of my heart in my spirit I was changed and it was a great difference from before I received Christ I was not the same person , before I had a lot of self-hatred I had depression I was so burdened down I didn’t treat my mother right I was evil I was an evil kid but when I receive Jesus Christ my heart he forgive me for all my sins and he showed me that he loved me I felt his presence and his love change me when I received him in my heart his Holy Spirit changed me and I did not hate myself anymore I felt the presence of God and I was different my mother it was only by the power of Jesus christ that I changed and I was sealed in that moment with his Holy Spirit.

Maybe the questioner is being short becuase Ray is repeating answers from previous conversations. Answers he and the questioner know are dishonest. Ray said they were friends. Im sure Ive heard Ray make false equivocations before, been shown they were wrong, and later used them again. Thats not really okay, especially when youre publishing that dishonesty for others to see.

Science doesn't say anything about how everything began to exist. It says we don't know. The big bang was not an explosion it was an expansion. One of the reasons we know this is from studying the shifting red light wavelengths.
