    He's so fast, he got handles, one of the best pick and roll ball handler, has a lethal jumper, good vison, and young. WOW! Him and Kyrie will be the next BIG thing.

    I'm a huge knick fan and never really was a fan of specific players until Lillard's rookie season I started fallowing him moderately close when he was high on the rookie ladder. At the end of his rookie season I definitely considered myself a fan of him. I fallowed him closely through this year's playoffs and when he hit the game winner against Houston I decided I would get his jersey. ( I only had a j kidd nets jersey before that) The jersey just game in the mail, it's the rip city alternate. IMO Damian Lillard's career so far is like an nba 2k my player career and honestly I think he will win MVP within the next 5 seasons. Lillard still is underrated as of now and hopefully he will begin to get even more media attention.

    Lillard is how a team would want their ideal lottery pick to be like in terms of how he starts his career. Come in with one elite skill which you can use in your rookie year so you can be a good impact player from the start(in Lillard's case his 3 point shooting) and then as you spend more time in the league, just add more skills to your game until you become a superstar level player. Then maintain that level as long a possible.

  • @lonzo6007
    @lonzo6007 10 років тому +8

    Heres something, Damian Lillard said he looks up to D-rose and said he modeled his game after his.And Damian lillards max vertical is 40 inches higher than D-wade Kobe, Dwight,Russell westbrook, russ only jumps 36inches d-wade the same so you can not say dame is not explosive,just a better overall game meaning he won't get injured shooting and a longer lasting career

    • @thamostgangsta12
      @thamostgangsta12 10 років тому

      I can't believe he jumps that high for a rim grazer. Like wtf are you comparing a big man, and two players over 30 who've had multiple knee surgeries of course they can't jump as high. And russel westbrook is fast as hell compared to lillard and quicker off the dribble. Look how lillard goes so much off his right westbrook ' s play style is a lot more unpredictable and he uses his athleticism more. Lillard is almost like stephen curry.

    • @lonzo6007
      @lonzo6007 10 років тому

      Im saying in there prime kobe's highest vert is 38 inches everybodys highest vert i said is in there prime Yes russell is a freaking beast i know that but vertical does play a factor overall russell played like a man on a mission he is the most athletic pg in the game now but if D-Rose is healthy with his "improved" jump shot he will be better than westbrook

    • @thamostgangsta12
      @thamostgangsta12 10 років тому

      elijah freeman all I'm saying is they play nothing alike. Kyrie irving is more like rose than lillard. And at this point lillard is better. Even john wall is better than lillard right now and he should be.
      So yea lillard has a higher vertical but he doesn't do half the dunks kobe does in game. Kobe was dunking on Ben wallace and doing reverse baseline dunks over people like kevin garnett. Lillard can only dunk when the lane is open. I don't even seen him doing the dunk kobe did against josh smith or gerald wallace and kris humphries. Lillard doesn't even do better dunks than rose or westbrook. With a vertical that high he barely does anything with it. Look at terrance ross or demar derozan

    • @lonzo6007
      @lonzo6007 10 років тому

      But Vertical Is a stupid Stephen curry has a 35.5 in vertical that's higher than blake griffen but yes curry misses dunks so? And Lillard said he modeled his game after his in the fact attacking the rim If you think about it Curry only jumps a inch lower than westbrook does but can't throw down monster dunks like he can?.

    • @oxfordbambooshootify
      @oxfordbambooshootify 10 років тому

      ikr. rose can be much more aggressive to the rim for the finish but lillard definitely has the better shot

    • @thamostgangsta12
      @thamostgangsta12 10 років тому

      Lol nothing like him. He is way slower and rose's cross is a little basic with a shoulder fake. Not only that rose jumps way higher and can pass better.

    Not a Blazers fan by any means, but love great basketball. This guy is legit. He plays like a healthy Derrick Rose {Rose was a point guard who used to play for Chicago and won an MVP}. This guy has a clean jump shot, is fast, can pass, runs plays, and comes through in the clutch. For all of the bum draft picks, Blazers fans deserve this.

      Everyone knows the Portland announcers (Mike Rice [the older of the two] and Mike Barret) are huge homers (mostly Mike Rice tbh) when it comes to announcing and providing opinions. But I'll be damned if they aren't extremely entertaining, especially when their team is doing well. Most outsiders can't appreciate them properly because of the hometown bias, but who can blame them for that when the team is doing well? I happen to think they are awesome at what they do and would never want anyone different to commentate for my Blazers.

    When Lillard and Kyrie learn to step up their game on the defensive end of the floor , theyll truly be elite point guards. For John Wall its the opposite he needs to work on the offensive end , he's made progress though. Right now I rank them as
    1.John Wall
    2.Kyrie Irving
    3.Damian Lillard
    Potential wise:
    1.Kyrie Irving

      @antonytaylor9051 10 років тому +1

      Mighty Quinn There no way in hell Russell Westbrook should be number five on your list. He may not be a conventional point guard but he does way more for his team then Steph ,Kyrie and Tony on both ends of the floor , Steph and Kyrie are horrid on defense. And Kyrie lacks the intangibles as a leader to be in the top 5 right now , maybe in a few years he will be especially with LeBron coming back , he'll teach him some things. Now maybe skill wise your list is somewhat accurate but as for as being a floor general and bringing year team what it needs the most your way off.

    • @yamuddauppalip4125
      @yamuddauppalip4125 10 років тому +1

      yea you're totally right, I was basing it off of skills honestly, steph and kyrie still have a ways to go to be great floor generals but they have extreme skill. I myself like the flashy guys thats why I didn't really want to add tony because he's all business. That's the cool thing about CP3 though he's so flashy without really trying to be he just analyzes the situation and realizes he's going to have to do something unthinkable.
