They threw everything including kitchen sink at him. Suicide runs, 4-pt jump shots, resistance band, getting physical with him, no breaks in between, I am about to pass out just by watching this. Hardcore anaerobic workout, look at how much control he had even he was breathing hard. Money shots no matter what, sooo impressive!
I don't think i've ever seen a pre-draft work out this intense. Dame never complained or bent over to tug his shorts, just kept breathing and working thru it. This should be required viewing for High Schoolers..
The reason why he's improving so quickly is not just because of how rough the workout is, but it's because he's pushing himself 100% even in practice. Practicing like its a game.
Whenever people ask why NBA players make so much money, show them this video. It shows the level of dedication and athleticism required to become a professional athlete.
@@joemoney9978 and how would you know? You've never seen my pace...I don't half ass my basketball drills like how I used to...my college coach made me realize that. Yes I think I can get through it "at that pace."

This is exactly why he was rookie of the year. The crazy part was that he knew he was going to receive it from the beginning because of his work wthic. He said nobody worked as hard as him. Based on this video... I believe it.
This workout is just so inspiring! I watched it the first time about a year ago and kept watching it over and over again. It kinda shows what youre capable of doing with a great work ethic.
Hell of a workout! If he's putting that kind of effort into his workouts consistently, then he'll be destined for greatness, that's inevitable. Good luck Damian!

Good work Dame! I went to one of your home games in pdx and we came into the court early and you were shooting all your famous threes all in a row it was great, I guess this work is what got you to the NBA and a 130 million contract with Adidas!
Actually makes me feel good looking at workouts like this because I used to have a trainer who did this 1 hour workout of this every other day than a strictly dribbling and shooting workout 1 hour sometimes 2 than hit the weights or run pick-up for a while best NBA player workout on youtube..
I am so excited to see this guy play. I mean he's athletic, he's in shape, and he can knock down shots, and most of all he seems like he's consistent and that's something that Portland desperately needs besides LA. He is defiantly gonna be a threat. I love it!!! Good Job picking him at #6 :) Take a good look at our starting PG :)

A lot of people don't realize how ridiculous this is. Running that long, being able to focus, hit 6 7 shots in a row. Sprint up and down the court, with contact drill, and at the end finding the legs to do a windmill dunk. Honestly you just have to appreciate the hard work and dedication.
@@alex9046 i disagree with the original comment about it being cringy, but I disagree with you more. You're both missing the understanding of context. You know, Alex, that if it were the casual "n word" that was said instead of "boy" it would be entirely justified. It boggles some people's minds, but not everyone can say every word, or understand everything. And to be honest, for all we know they, a black coach and a black athlete who come from parallel roots may feel a camaraderie in the use of that word, may usually use it, but in the presence and more formalized setting of working out in front of scouts they may not feel comfortable talking to each other like that, idk, I'm just saying, don't make sweeping statements off of one moment.
