I'm a hospital pharmacist in the US and the stroke alerts are always the ones that get me on the edge because of how crucial it is to get the meds given in the time window. Banger song and it'll be in my top rock playlist. This will be played non stop for at least a day or more
My dad had a light stroke and went to the hospital by his own. He was waiting for few hours for a doctor to see him. He had a 2nd and a 3rd more severe strokes inside the hospital that left him disorder. He never recovered fully and it was a very painful situation for the whole family. I still cant believe how the doctors let that happened and if it was something they could do about it. Unfortunately I lost him 3 years a ago.

As a stroke survivour (Had a minor stroke in July) I appreciate this a lot, I had a great team helping me learn to gain the use of my left arm & leg back, learning to grip things, learning to dress myself, I don't think I could have managed without them supporting me & keeping my spirits up when I felt frustrated & low.

My Mother had a stroke and it took away who she was...but I did get the joy of getting to know the new her. All that was wonderful and epic about her came through. She passed on Dec 27, 2021. She lived a very long and blessed life. To you Mother: for making life so beautiful, fun, filled with music, and guiding us to the Lord!

You're her "favourite favourite" and she now requests this and garlic bread all the time, including in the car.
She witnessed her great Nan have a stroke earlier this year and we now have to visit Nan in a home.

My Mother had a stroke and it took away who she was...but I did get the joy of getting to know the new her. All that was wonderful and epic about her came through. She passed on Dec 27, 2021. She lived a very long and blessed life. To you Mother: for making life so beautiful, fun, filled with music, and guiding us to the Lord!
That was awesome. My mum has been in a care home since her stroke over 2 years ago. Very worthwhile charity, thank you 🙏 🤘🏼
