I think that was the point. They fulfilled their destiny. As the video said Beyonce was under no contractual obligation to do another album with DC. She was already a solidified solo artist but she came back together with them to give DC fans their final album. She could have run with her solo success. She had already released Dangerously In Love and many people thought she'd never go back to DC to record another album with them but she did and I think that was a very nice thing to do. They even toured that album which gave the other members of the group an opportunity to make a lot of money off the album and tour. She really didn't have to do that.

Also, you don't know there was a contract. What most likely happened if the information in the video is correct is that there was no initial contract to make the album but when the DC members decided to make the album and tour it a contract was drawn up. It makes perfect sense that there was no initial contract because Bey went solo. I assume that their DC contract would have specified that no members of the group could go solo until after their contractual obligations were fulfilled, which lines up with what is mentioned in the video. Again, of course, I don't know for sure but none of us do. And yes Beyonce always spoils her fans but at the point in her career when she went solo, she could have easily chosen to continue to do that as a solo artist, but she went back to DC, to not just spoil her fans, but to spoil the DC fans and help the other girls make some money in the process.

Yeah. She's been my favorite too throughout Destiny's Child's rise. Her face, skin, body, and voice were all underrated. Actually during the first 2 albums I thought her voice was the strongest. Listen to "Amazing Grace", the last track on TWOTW. Her solos were sharper than Beyonce's. Kelly had a purer, richer, more soulful tone than Beyonce, however as time went on. Beyonce was more groomed and vocally trained(on purpose I bet) to be stronger, while Kelly's was the opposite. So she did backpedal a little in a sense. Did you know that In "Say My Name", and a few other songs Darkchild wanted Kelly to sing lead, or share solos at least, but Matthew blocked that idea and said his daughter WILL sing lead for them all and NO ONE else! Smh*... anyway with the original 4, Le Toya and Kelly were my favorites, then after Le Toya got Replaced, it was Kelly and Farrah, then after Farrah left, my soul favorite is Kelly. Now if those 3 became a group, that would make me really happy😀!
