I believe Farrah's testimony. Her story has not changed since day one. I'm a huge Beyonce and Destiny's Child fan, but based off several documentaries I've seen about them, it looked as if Beyonce's father was determined to make that group successful by any means.

I do agree that when it started it may have been Matthew trying to make her daughter famous and he went out of his way to do so tbh you can't blame him every parent manager has always put their kid first before anything (not that I agree with it).....but the Kelly and Michelle were also treated very well. When they went solo, Kelly and Michelle went solo before Beyonce and kelly even got a hit single with Nelly. They weren't just discarded. Beyonce could have went solo after all that pushing from her dad and still failed as many artists have before but she didn't cos she had the drive and worked really to be where she is today.....that is what makes her different from the others I'm not saying they don't have drive kelly does have a few hits but I believe that without a doubt she does not work as hard as Beyonce does. She also spent years in an abusive relationship with a men that told her she was less than and was fueling hate on Beyonce....she also had people around her doing the same. Kelly has hits and could have had even more success but the media and everyone else spent more time bringing her down making her feel less than that she ended believing it and put herself in a dark place and lost so much time that she could have used to making the career she wanted. Michelle is gospel she went a completely different route when she decided to go solo so you can't compare the 2 and even blame beyonce cos they weren't even competing on the same track and had 2 different audiences that they were selling to.

Lauren Hardy I think when people are stressed and feel the pressure of carrying the load of others, especially at a young age, frustration is the emotion that is exuded most. She always looked like she was overthinking things/stressed. Notice when it was a trio, with everyone getting equal amounts of spotlight that Beyoncé’s kind/charming side came out more? I feel like her father put unnecessary pressure on her to be the alpha in the group, and just based off of how shy she seems to actually be it all makes sense. I've often thought about this. If someone has all this talent just market them as a solo artist. Don't even bother with a group. In a group everyone is supposed to be a team player. Everyone should have their time to lead even if it is just once in a while. The one with the "talent" is put up front and behold now they go solo and is this mega star. We see it happening all the time. The truth is not everyone is a team player or works well with others so they should have been solo from the start. These girls went thru so much to be a stepping stone for someone else's career.

You never said how they managed to turn Beyonce negative press into everyone loves Destiny Child. I think the song "I'm a survivor" was contradictory. The song shifted the blame toward Tavia and Toya which looked like they were wrong for suing Matthew. I remember that like overnight, the blame shifted from Beyonce. It was crazy.

I went back and watched the All Access clip and indeed, Beyonce and Farrah didn't have one bit of interaction in one clip and then in the very next clip, they said Farrah didn't feel good so they were gonna spend the day as a trio. Not long after the next commercial break, Farrah was no longer in the group.

Destinys Child was for Beyonce and her only. Everything was set for her while the other members were used to prompt Beyonce for a solo career. Every member got screwed over in some shape or form. I feel sad for Kelly the most. She always got the short hairstyles, the less flattering clothes and was often overlooked. The fact that all girls had to tan except Beyonce is unfair, it could have damaged their skin. Also Kelly is already dark skin she did not need a tan.
