The one other thing I didn't hear you mention was Winchester Medical Center which attracts many seniors and has gained a reputation for being top notch in cardiac health. ❤
I grew up in Winchester, graduating from James Wood in 1986 and moved shortly thereafter. I absolutely loved it, and visit as often as possible. To put things in perspective, we always went to shows at the Capital Centre, and then, you could often drive with little or no stopping until you reached Fairfax. Times have changed. Winchester is an amazing town.
Our roads in Winchester are under developed for the population that keeps moving in. The city and Frederick County need to improve the roadways for the amount of traffic that is here now not build more houses.
Love it! Did you buy a home there? We’ve been sitting on a video for Abrams Pointe for months now lol. Davine and Brandon there were kind enough to let us film but haven’t finished it yet. It’s a great location and neighborhood!!
Yes, the city is diverse, Frederick County, not as much. Winchester has a university, so definitely has diversity and intellectuals. I moved here from NOVA also and I love it. Peaceful pace of life and so much more affordable, yet only an hour away from big city.
I hope that people will wake up in this area and stop the insane taxes on Food/Beverage and Car Income Taxes - both the highest in the entire Nation. The area still have to help small businesses set up Sports Bars/ Concerts Halls for younger people in their 20's and 30's and even older. I'm an old guy and still love to hear live music.

If you're ever in the Route 7 Martin's, I might end up bagging groceries for you. :)
Hope to see you next time I’m there!
Besides Patsy Cline, another singer Penny DeHaven is from there.
04:12 The late 1700s was the "late 18th century" - not the "late 17th."
