Beautiful piece of film and it shows exactly why we return t Norfolk year after year.

Hi, what a pleasure to watch this video instead of t.v with continuous football, tennis and cricket. It’s a pity it doesn’t last for two hours! Keep up your work!

Nice......very nice! What equipment and software did you use? Were most of the clips in slow motion?

Thank you. Most (probably all) shots were taken with a Canon XA20. That camera does have a high FPS slo mo setting which I used occasionally. The software I used was Vegas Pro.

Hello again, thanks for the info... how did you get the low-down doggie-in-grass shots? they are very steady, in fact all your shots are remarkably stable to say you're constantly on the move. I've watched several more of your videos and I'm particularly impressed with 'Lullaby of Upton Marshes'. Beautiful scenes, and the soundtrack is just perfect. You obviously have the skills, patience and creative ability to put together some great videos. We'll be coming to Norfolk again at the end of May, so will definitely try out some of the walks you have filmed. Thanks VwW

Thanks :) I often use a monopod (rarely a tripod as it's too cumbersome) The shots you're referring to are on my walking videos. For those I used a DSLR mounted on a gimbal. (Ronin-S) which is amazingly steady, even while walking, however it weighs a lot! It can be 'underslung' to film really low, which is how I get 'doggy cam' :) I think a steady shot is even more important than image quality. On the other hand, having so much heavy kit that you never go out the door with it isn't much use... so I try to find the best ways to compromise. I've just bought an Osprey rucksack that cleverly keeps the actually rucksack off your back in the hope I can use it to carry the gimbal because, great as it is, it's very heavy and I haven't yet attempted a long walk with it. I hope you have a lovely time in Norfolk when you come and thoroughly recommend the walks I filmed :)
