thank you for the advice bro, like frl. do you have any suggestions about entering the "industry" independently? i cant manage to find anyone to put onto my beats and i'm insecure about how i would fit into the scene of hiphop and rap as a lyricist, is there anything i could do?

Yea so as producer I networked with smaller artists on Instagram. Years ago I would send beat packs to artists I messaged. As an artist I haven't done that but I would say start producing engaging content around your music. There is still an audience for lyrical rap but since you're independent you'll have to find a way to get in front of a many eyes as possible. I think your best bet is social media.
