Fantastic video! Thank you so much for your kind words, great to see the knomes getting some love too 😄 We cant wait to continue developing Novus Malum and adding more variety to the game!

Thank you guys 🙂
I bought a copy for myself and it just came in the mail- it all looks great! A couple of tricky to clean mold lines, but other than that very nice. 🙂 Awesome vid, I hope you got a chance to paint a few!
I’ve literally just watched your Bretonnia video, came to check my comments and here you are 😂. Thank you, it’s an interesting looking game. and I definitely need to get some paint on mine, I’m a little consumed by the old world right now, and these models deserve some love too.
hehehe surprise!!! so many great models to paint, so little time 🙂@@MiniatureRealms
Great preview Stuart. Lovely concept and some great looking miniatures. Will be interesting to see some reviews of how it plays
Cheers Graeme. I’m hoping I’ll get to try it if time allows.
This game looks interesting. I do like small skirmish games.
Sorry I haven't been able to support the channel the last 2 months. November last year COVID ripped through our family. My father sadly passed away due to covid and lung disease. I have only just started to normalise.
I'm looking forward to getting back to the hobby and I can't wait to catch up on the backlog of videos, haha!
I see you have a discord now? I'll be sure to check it out as I do use it myself.
Good to see you're still producing great vids!
Kelvin I’m so sorry to hear that news, I can only begin to imagine what you and your family must be going through. Certainly no need to apologise.
Hopefully returning to the hobby may offer a small distraction for you.
I really like the look of that Dwarf character. I wonder if they made the dwarves and the “Knomes” taller because they can still be in a sort of scale against each other and also try and avoid some of the issues that some companies run across by making the bodies too short and the arms too long
Yes very possible, I’m sure it’s mostly down to their chosen aesthetics, and making them stand out.
Captain Kragnair is definitely our favourite miniature from the box too! In regards to scale, we have somewhat gone against traditional fantasy tropes. We wanted our Dwarves to look big, chunky, and industrial compared to the Knomes; rather than making the Knomes ridiculously small, we opted for making the Dwarves larger instead. We think this has worked out rather well, and we will try to stick to this scale in the future.

Always interested in skirmish level games. I’ll take a look at the website.
Well worth a look, I really like the Knomes, and wouldn’t have guessed I’d prefer them over the Dwarfs.
I checked it out and I've got one on preorder! Looks really good
That’s great, hope you like it.
I'm a huge fan of skirmish games, with Mordheim being my absolute favorite. It's always a delight to see others creating games in this genre. The miniatures featured in your video appear to be exceptionally well-crafted. However, I'm a bit uncertain about the material used. In my experience, plastic that bends easily tends to give off a more toy-like impression. But, I must admit, I haven't had the chance to try them in a tabletop setting, so perhaps my opinion might change upon use. Nonetheless, I thoroughly enjoyed your video and am eager to see more from you. Subscribed!
Thank you 😊.
So the Siocast material is quite contentious with wargamers, it’s to used by GW, but many of the smaller companies use it because it’s cost effective. When it’s good it’s very good, but it does have its drawbacks, and it’s often a hot topic. It’s a very clever system, a clever machine that works a bit like spin casting metals, but is resin. It’s cheaper than metal, can use old metal sculpts, and the waste can be re-used as well - all why so many new companies are using it.
The major drawback is the softer it is, the harder it is to clean off mould lines and file. Some companies (Warlord Games for example) have been working on improving the formula, and are getting very close to an excellent pro with it. I’d say we’re going to see more of it, as plastic injection moulding is so expensive for the small companies, but at least it’s improving.
Hi, thanks for your interest in out game. We are using a technology called siocast to produce our miniatures. They are made of a blend of siocasts soft and hard material which gives properties similar to that of resin miniatures but with some extra flexibility to make smaller components less brittle and prone to breaking! They are still easy to clean up with a sharp hobby knife and take paints very well.

Cool to hear about the siocast tech for your minis. Sounds like they're a good mix of sturdy and detailed. Glad to hear they handle paint well.
We're just starting with battle reports on our channel and your game looks like it could be a fun feature. Will definitely keep it in mind for a future video. Keep up the great work, excited to see more from you guys!
Interesting
I’ll be keeping an eye on how it develops
Looks like a really nice little game. If it wasn't for another well known game coming out, I would defiantly grab a box. Great video.
Yeah I know what you mean, so many good games.
