This is so cool. I did not know you were a ptofessional critic. That's what I'd like to do, Freelance Journalism, or with music, so I can relate to what I'm saying. ❤

This makes me glad that I don't have to concern myself with lighting or costumes or camera angles and can just allow the resulting product make an impact on me. It's true that learning more after the fact can make you appreciate things more, but I don't want that before a 1st watch. Here are a few random things. I once decided that Peanut M&Ms were so good that it must be made of the best stuff. So I took one apart. The peanut tasted rancid. The chocolate was very unimpressive and the candy coating was just terrible. The whole was delicious, the components, amazingly not so good. Just watched a video version of Scarborough Fair that had the captions. I thought I knew the song but never must have paid attention to the response lines to the main lyrics. It was about going to war for a cause you could no longer remember. It is amazing the things we think we know. A mind blowing thing for me that I didn't learn until after age 60 was about corn. One thing that I find hard to believe is that a corn stalk can only have 2 ears. I would swear I had seen more than that on a stalk and others tell me that they know that's not true. That is interesting to me, but here's the thing that really stayed with me: the silk on corn that is a something just to get rid of is far more important than I ever imagined. Did you know that each strand of silk goes to a single kernel? If the strand was cut, that kernel wouldn't develop. What is needed arrives at the kernel through the silk! I have done PC Board layouts and routed a few wires in my day, but imagine having the job of routing each strand of silk to a kernel of corn and tucking that silk into the rows as you work. What an intricate job! So, if evolution is random, you could supposedly give me all the components of an ear of corn and I could keep throwing them up against a wall randomly and, eventually, I would get an ear of corn. I think I'll go to the Farmer's market instead.

That looks like the kind of ideal American small town that only exists in films, if you come from a small town on the middle of England.

I hope this isn't too personal of a question, but after seeing you wear glasses at the movie theater, I can't stop wondering if you wear contacts during your videos or if the room is just acceptably blurry or if the glasses are just for taking notes? I don't know why this such a burning question, probably because we're so used to your face and glasses really changes how a person looks.

I am near sighted, so reactions with a screen one foot in front of me - no problem - movie theaters with a screen an entire room away - glasses required!

@@celticseahag I worked that at as soon as I read the question. Probably because I am near sighted and have the same problem lol

Well, see, there's my problem; I'm a "submit the first draft" guy. I'd be like "your movie was so awful, it killed my whole family. Forgiveness and redemption are impossible. I'll hunt you to the ends of the Earth". Then I'd laugh myself literally sick. Then I'd think "everyone else has to see this baby!". Then 16 hours after hitting send, THEN I'd think "uh oh...".
