The Prophet who brought us Squirt Boating: Jim Snyder in a Holy Squirt Boat - 2022

Filmed and edited by Nina Assimakopoulis, here is one of Poseidon's offspring trying out his latest design. The holes were inspired by a modification to the Undertoe. Jim tells me this:
"I was experimenting with the holes- I had a couple assertions about them which turned out to be true- but it's odd that the boat shape works very well when I run 'flooded' in low water (no skirt- my chop is about armpit deep- lol). The assertions which came true are:
1. More drag available when I hook up with downdrafts
2. also an 'overload protection' where- with most sinkers- you can actually bite off too much drop- so- know how much to ask for is a dicey matter. With the holes- you can only get 'so bit' into the
downdrafts- so they can't jerk you around so bad.
So- the holes provide more drag at low levels of engagement- and also keep you from getting too much- so you can push harder."
