Not revolutionary, just helpful - a good % of boards have smaller holes in the centre of fairly short boxes, so you need to take the plates off each time, thread them to the right position to line up with the screws - not a big deal, but time consuming. The bigger gap at the back of the new full carbon boxes allows you to slide the foil in, with screws/plates mounted - there are other brands with the same system, it is however new for Duotone. Plus a longer full carbon box, which then accommodates all of the quite different foils on the market, some needing vastly different positions in the boxes. Improvements are seldom made with revolutionary ideas in product, but it's good to keep pushing forward with small details too, as these add up over time to good product improvements for end customers.
@@duotone.wingfoiling great response. I’ve never had anything other than the access hole at the end of the box. 🗃️ 16in tracks? lighter than before?? didn’t understand that one either
as explained, not standard to have the holes at the back/new for Duotone and many other brands. Lighter than before because they are full carbon, vs nylon boxes. Also longer than our 2024 boards. Remember Jeffrey is talking about changes in general to our previous range, not to the complete industry.
I don’t get it.
This revolutionary idea
