- Taylor Michell Coleman talks about her deadbeat dad, Vincent Coleman. "There's two main reasons why I wrote this book: 1.) I want to bring major awareness to this world wide issue of absent/dead beat parents who think it's totally okay to walk out of their innocent child's life and treat them as if they literally do not exist.
2.) I spent the last 20 years of my life being silent because I was too scared to tarnish his image, and too embarrassed to admit my dad wants nothing to do with me. But that is over now, and I deserve to be heard and it's important for me to finally let all of this out, so I can heal and help others heal from sharing my story. Great things come from people sharing their stories, and I want to advocate for all who can relate."

This behaviour is all to commonly found among men. Its as if most are wired to not care at all. Its as if they have some kind of psychosis or some sickness found in the DSM5 because it isnt normal not to feel anything for your offspring.

But I hope that after she has told her truth and gotten it out, that she walks away from him forever, stop trying to forge a relationship where he has refused, and to just keep in touch with her brothers from his first wife . I have a theory about narcissists and their incapability to show love to more than 1 or 2 people. It's like it's too much to juggle. Too many people to deceive, too many personalities to study for later deceit, too much to remember. If they're part of a big family there's no real connection with anyone except for maybe a sibling, a parent or 1 child. Like they have favorites and then focus on their favorite. Idk I'm probably wrong.

This sounds like he was married (which should've been public knowledge since he was a ball player), and was cheating (like most of them do) and this girls mother got pregnant and most likely got him for child support. Then, the wife found out and divorced him and took the rest of his money and made him bitter ( thats what he get) so he just decided that since they taking all his money, he dont want nothing to do with any of them. He prob even told her mother to abort. This story is very common. This one prob had more money involved than regular folks..but its the same.

Some of the kids need to check with the mothers first. Was they supported or paid the mother with money. When the man cheat she was just a fan. If he refuses, the kids take it as a loss.
