When camping out on Brecon Beacons we used to always say, if you can see the hills it is going to rain and if you can't see them it is already raining :P
My 1st Vlog of yours I’ve seen…sent it to my daughter who is just starting to ride…wanted her to see the real beauty and nature of motorcycle adventures. The solitude and joy of back country, as you display, is the essence of motorcycle touring. Thank you for this experience!
Years ago, (about '90 ?) I entered Wales, from the motorway to go towards the Swansea area, It started to rain, THREE DAYS LATER. lol, I rode back into 'England', & as if a switch had been flicked, The Sun came out & it stopped raining. But, ! I had a great time, a beautiful trip. 👍 Terrific vids' Keep 'em coming, Thanks.🙂
As a motorbike rider /traveler I recognise so many feelings that you have during a trip, like the doubts to what direction, the fatigue after a day riding etc....... What I learn from you is to live more in the moment. You see the beauty in everything and thats great. 👍
It's a meditation on two wheels. The intense focus needed for safe riding, days of solitude on the road and the sense of endless possibilities are why I ride. Wish I had a gorgeous DesertX 😅
I love your Desert X, the colour and the matching bags, really nice! Mede door jouw geweldig mooie video’s, krijg ik steeds meer zin in mijn motor vakantie volgend jaar. Bedankt Leonoor.
A favourite day trip on the bike takes me from Bristol over the Severn bridge to my home country, then a loop via Usk, Llanthony Priory, Gospel Pass, Hay on Wye, Builth Wells, Beulah, Abergwesyn, Devil's Staircase, Llyn Brianne, Llandovery, a break at the Owl's Nest, over the Black Mountain Road and back to Llandovery, along the A40 to Abergavenny, back roads to the Wye Valley, Tintern Abbey, and back over the bridge. Good to see you enjoying some of my favourite roads, even if the weather wasn't the best.
You have been very Lucky with the weather Leonoor....... Normally at this time of the Year it is far too hot for Biking.... Up to 40c..... LOL.... Still I am happy you can see the Beauty in all that is around you.... Take care and stay safe........ :-))) xxxxxx
You need to do it when the sun is out ,you could spnd weeks riding in the mountains and valleys of Wales it's a stunning place, 😊, I live here and I've never got fed up of seeing it , more sheep in Wales than people 😮, Enjoyed the video,
The brecon beacons is on my doorstep. I'm up there all the time on my motorbike 🏍 when the weather is nice. When the sun is shining, it's a beautiful place for biking.
Amazing vid thankyou its knda strange in a good way to see you ride my local roads, I go up the gospal pass to find peace and say hello to the horses hope you come back when its sunny it dose happen from time to time 🙂
The lane down the Gospel Pass to the Priory is shown as blocked, however, it is passable on the bike. We’ve done it several times these past few weeks. Glad you enjoyed our beautiful countryside.
I went there a year ago and it was the same then, we decided to try it and got through on bikes with no trouble... It rained most days we were in Wales but it's still a beautiful place to ride.
I must say I didn't ride all the way to the actual blockage, as it started raining pretty bad, so I turned around to where it was more dry and hoping to find shelter in the priory haha. But I'll be back for sure!
I/we were there in late May, there were signs saying the road was closed but when we arrived at the damaged road near Lantony Abbey. There was room for one car at a time to go through the road works. We then continued passed The Skirrid Pub, supposed to be one of the most haunted places in Wales. Keep the content coming, PLEASE.
I did lost track of your channel, after going thru my like history I finally found it. Im really happy today. Im watching you from Bangladesh and I really love your videos. Best wishes
Superb filming...just returned from a 3 day ride taking in Brecon and Snowdonia...when you come back take the road from Bala lake to Welshpool, I took it by chance and fantastic road for view's and bends for days.....
Another brilliant video. Hopefully, if you're doing the UK you'll get to visit Exmoor, Dartmoor, and Bodmin moor as you travel through Somerset, Devon, and Cornwall.
Another great video lots of my local routes you have ridden and will be no doubt as I live in Bristol which is perfectly placed for rides to Wales, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire all within a 2hr ride.
Hi, I'm new to your channel, you have a very laid back approach to your videos that is really engaging every time i watch one it makes me want to ride my bike . Keep up the awesome creating and a big thank you for all the episodes i have to catch up on . All the best go well
@@LNRmoto Also I was wondering how you carry your camera and lenses on the bike? I really like taking my DSLR and lenses on my trips but haven't found a good way of doing it. Any tips most welcome!
Sorry for the late reply, I mostly use the @peakdesign camera cubes in my trip and otherwise their backpacks! Great inlay, very practical and good enough protection on trips 🙌🏼
Que vídeo maravilhoso! Você se superou. Amo, amo os animais e essas imagens para mim foram as melhores até o momento. Você realmente faz um excelente trabalho. Parabéns!
Hello, I really like the content of your videos, I think they are very useful and I learn a lot from them, I follow you on UA-cam, it is very difficult for me to comment since I do not speak your language, but I want you to know that I appreciate it everything you send Greetings!!
Hello Lenoor, I'm sure you Know but the Gospel Pass is the highest road in Wales. If your around the area again check out Baskeville Hall Hotel Near Hay on Wye.
Ahh what a shame, I have just noticed your videos. I met you at Magor services and asked you about your soft luggage. Had I known you were struggling I would have offered you a place to stay for free. You looked pretty calm about the situation so I didn’t think you were in need of somewhere to stay. Glad you found somewhere comfortable. If you come back to South Wales I’d gladly show you some beautiful areas that aren’t well publicised.
Hi, must say I'm new to your channel, love your content, and I must congratulate you on near perfect English, It's such a shame the weather has not been on your side. Love your Ducati first time I've really seen one of those, but going forward to the future if you have enjoyed Wales you would love Scotland. Thank you.
Glad you like it, thanks for sharing. I'll be back for sure and I'm planning on taking on a lot more than only Wales! So yeah, Scotland is high on my list as well
I'm really enjoying this series and am blown away by your photography. You ended the day only 15 minutes from my house and I was riding in the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains this week (wall to wall sunshine.... sorry), so I know just how far you rode to get to Axebridge... your editing hides the time and distance well.
Its a shame you have missed out on what Wales has to offer because of the weather it is stunning. You stop for the night is in my area and near Cheddar. look forward to the rest of the adventure here in the U.K.
Wales is so beautiful, it’s a shame you had bad weather, but that just makes the adventure, I’m sure you’ll revisit . I’m in love with your bike, mine is a gen3 superduke r , and tour everywhere on it and I love it,but I am torn with the adventure bikes . The Ducati Dessert X is beautiful 👌👍🏼

I did a similar trip in 2014 and it rained the entire time. I knew there was amazing scenery but could not see it through all the low cloud.
It sure is spectacular when the clouds lift
