I came to west from east,I noticed that living specially in Pakistan is like living in pond where water starts getting warmer and warmer and all frogs in that water are slowly getting use to that environment where there is no chance of escape or nobody is thinking of getting out.The life is a challenge with hardships and main public is without thinking living under the influence of ignorant religious leaders.Philosophy is above their reach ,they can't think for themselves normally.How long it will survive like that until a major shift in whole society or young generation will stand and change the mental setup of good and bad

For example your identity crisis thesis. Identity crisis didn't arised due to different ethnic groups ruiling over others. Instead each subtribe of a single ethnic group was fighting for dominance and this resulted in poor management and lesser development. That's way many areas remain backward due to internal tension between not different ethnic groups but same!
So this lack of management due to fighting between local tribes/ castes created many issues and set back our country much behind.
