Yes, they are so beautiful to watch like that. We don't have them over here in England or anywhere in Europe either for that matter, the closest that we have is a moth called the hummingbird hawkmoth but it's not at all the same yet often gets mistaken by people reporting that they've seen a hummingbird here hehe. As my Grandfather has always put out a lot of stuff which we stock up on solely for feeding/attracting the birds here each day. Our back garden is always busy with the traffic of the various birds we do have here plus a family of squirrels also that are up and down the apparatus so rapidly along with the odd other few varieties of creatures. I just really enjoy standing in our kitchen so that I am able to watch them all go about their business.
All the best your way Scott fella, cheers :)

You can put a 4-way piece of red translucent plastic, something like the flights of a dart inside of the bird feeder to make the liquid appear red without any chemical transference.

Hubby is a hillbilly from the area Denis was taken from. His take on it is this: Hillbilly folk who moonshine back then had a code of revenge that included taking a child as payback. Hubby thinks someone was messing or interfering with the still. He says he's got uncles who 'took' girls for future brides. There were many boys ,"taken" as revenge and brought up as part of the family. Those Melungeon hillfolk had no birth certificates. He thinks he could even have attended school with abducted kids. He says do an age forward of Denis and go look on Melungeon front porches in the towns near Cades Cove...he says he'll be there. Abducted boys and girls were valuable workers.

Hi Ron, it's a great story. I had something similar happen to me and my the 2 year old son on the banks of Smith River. My son loved rocks! If we ever went to anyone's house with a gravel driveway, guess what my son's pockets and anything else he could fill, was full of, Rocks. Lol.
I would take him to a excluded spot on Smith River because the bank was full of rocks. One day we are skipping rocks, my son throwing them onto the river. Then some rocks were thrown our way and landed in the water close by my son and I. There was this little piece of dry land or island in the middle of the river. It had trees and bushes etc. I seen the bushes and trees move, I thought is was possibly teenagers goofing around with us. I yelled not to be throwing rocks at us. Short time later a basket or soccer ball size rock was thrown towards us and landed close. That made my "mama bear" come out! Just as fast, it occured to me that there was no way a person could throw that big of a rock that far and accurate. The hairs stood up all over my body. I sense danger, I grabbed my son, jumbed into the car. I didn't even put my son into his car seat until we came to a paved road.
I come from a family of hunters, farmers/ranchers, I love the woods and not scared to go hiking/camping etc. The feeling I had was very real fight or flight, I had the feeling of being watched, like prey.
Love and enjoy your channel, Cam and all the people who submit their encounters.

Ms Cindi , thanks for sharing the incident . I can understand the scare you had . Had sort of a similar incident about 30 yrs ago , long before I had a clue what it was . Long story short . Myself and a couple buddies were fishing late at night when small limbs started coming at us from a tree row about 70 feet from where we were fishing on the river here in Oklahoma. We started throwing rocks back towards the tree row , thinking it was a farm hand trying to scare us. Few minutes later a 4 ft log comes flying out at us landing in the water right in front of us. Before we could digest that we got screamed at / roared at. Scared three 30 something yr old guys so bad we left all our gear and a camp fire burning and ran the half mile or so distance to the pick up. Never had a clue what it was til I started listening to BF channels 7 or 8 years ago . It was an " oh wow " moment the first time I ever heard the Ohio scream. Take care of that rock hound , he's my kind of guy ! Always loved rocks too ! 8 )

Hi Dixie! Whew!! I have been to Cherokee National Forest several times, we live about an hour away. Let me just say, this place is very isolated and especially spooky when the sun goes down!! My sons like to camp up there on Round Mountain. It’s about 13 miles up the mountain; from where your start in Del Rio, you’re already in the middle of nowhere!! We followed them out there one afternoon in our old Jeep Wrangler, hoping nothing would tear up on it. My husband kept saying it was a perfect place for Bigfoot, I told him to stop trying to scare me haha. Anyway we stayed for awhile and cooked some steaks on the grill and just hung out by the campfire, the whole time my head was on the swivel, I was spooked out there. Finally it came time for us to leave, my boys and their friends were staying to camp😳 We headed out and thought it would be spooky fun to listen to one of your videos while going back down the mountain, thru mud holes and over rocks, narrow trails and trying to remember which turns to take so we didn’t end up lost and hoping we didn’t get stuck. Let me also say it was pitch black out there.. I had to turn the video off about half way down lol, it’s definitely a place where one would come across a Bigfoot! My husband was getting a kick out of scaring me, but before we got out of there he was spooked too!

However, the political climate continues to get worse. Virginia has some of the highest taxes. I did not know that TN didn't have a state tax, and that's very nice...it must attract a lot more people though. Less taxes, less fees, and low cost of living sounds great! Ahhh, Virginia. Yes, I've been watching the political mess there. It's so sad to see it in decline. I also did not know that VA had high taxes. I really hope that you make your move; the sooner, the better. Hello Cam and I hope that your day in the US is as pretty as the one here in NSW Australia. Regarding the story about Adam, I just wanted to let you know that the writer must have thought that you weren't going to share his stories so he sent it out into YT land and although I can't remember where I heard it, I did here it on another channel some months ago. Now having said that there are probably a lot of people who haven't and regardless, it's always nice to hear a good story again! I will say that I believe that the story is true, but I believe that the Sasquatch had had a run in with humans on another occasion that didn't turn out well. Sure the big male could have been injured in a fight with another male over being Alpha and having breeding rights, but in the case with Adam I think that the Dad was worried about the unpredictability of humans and wanted the humans to know he was close by with his clan which included a pregnant mate and at least one and likely 2 children including the 6 foot tall one who would have been just a few years older than the male who wanted to be Adam's friend. We shoot at so many things which are literally in the Sasquatch's lounge room that I believe that they HAVE to be on high alert around us. Their little ones enjoy play just like our children do, and sweet things just the same. I think that Ashley, or whatever Adam's dad's name was, is an idiot. He didn't get it that it was HE who had settled upon the Sasquatch's territory NOT the other way around and should have taken the cops advice and gone to a motel for the night, but Irish are stubborn having many of them in my family tree. Nonetheless, all's well that ends well and hopefully there won't be any guns fired in this case. But the area you described is VERY common for Sasquatch encounters. Yes, some Sasquatch males are roaming around fighting and are nasty pieces of work but so are many humans too, male and female alike. You DON'T know what sort you're going to encounter that's true but nature is tough and brutal and when you kill to survive and feed your family or have to fight other Cryptid entities for space, I'm referring to Dogmen here, you would be on edge all the time. These beings love their children as we do and will defend them to the death. Thanks again Cam for your channel and the effort you put into it. I LOVE the Birthday segment at the end too. Keep well Cam and I always enjoy eating my breakfast with a new video of yours. Bye for now.

I would not doubt anything about this story. I believe everything in this story is true because of many of the stories that my Grandfathers and Aunts and Uncles have told me. And you know it's not always a Sasquatch that was the subject of the stories. I can guarantee you that there are other things in the woods that are very large and are not benevolent to man in any way. Bigfoot is not a creature that has hate in their demeanor toward humans but some of them do not like humans at all and will go out of their way to harm people. Most of the time it is because of something that a human has done to them at some point in time, and they don't forget. They are almost as different as people are in the way that they view the world they have to live in, some are just plain bad and violent and some are benevolent towards humans. I think that the majority of Sasquatch have a real disinterest and distrust of humans and want nothing to do with us. They are careful to never let us see them most of the time and when they want you to see them it is because they are letting you know that they are there and want you to know just what you are facing if you don't leave and let them be. The people that seek them out if they do it long enough will eventually see them but when they do it almost never turns out to be what they have envisioned. When they do find them it is because they have walked into a trap and will probably never seek anything out again because they will be dead. People that seek these creatures out do not know what they are up against and are real fools for doing it. There are groups that are hired to find these creatures and kill them all the time and they do not like it at all when men come and lay traps for them and kill their kind. They have a change in the way they look at humans in general, and the general populace is left in the dark and nobody tells anybody about what they might be walking into when they go camping, hiking, or hunting or whatever they go to the wilderness to do. It is a crime to keep the knowledge of these creatures from the general populace and allow us to at least have some idea as to what is really out there in the wilds of the forests and other areas of the country.
