I use to live in Bullhead City,Az and It would be 115* on a summer day and then drop down to 50* in the valleys at night. Great weather for river play during the day and riding at night! Loved that place!
I have tried to get my uncle to write his story down but he has yet to do it. His uncle (my great uncle) had a cabin on the outskirts of the Shawnee national forest and my two uncles would meet up at the cabin on most weekends to get away from the rest of the world for a couple of days. One weekend my uncle went to the cabin and my great uncle wasn't there so instead of driving the 50 miles back to civilization he decided to wait and see if my uncle would show up later in the evening. Long story short he fell asleep in his car (the cabin was locked up) and later that night he was startled awake by the sound of crunching gravel. When my uncle opened his eyes and looked out his driver's side window (which was rolled down because it was in the summertime) he was met with the face of a monster inches away looking at him! My uncle is a huge man who worked as a brick layer his entire adult life and he isnt afraid of much but whatever this thing was terrified him! My uncle screamed out in fear and the thing took off towards the woods. My uncle started the car and turned the headlights on just in time to see the thing walking into the woods! He said that it had to be 8' tall and 4' wide at the shoulders, it was covered with long shaggy reddish brown hair and walking on 2 legs. He took off as fast as he could drive and he never went back to that cabin and is still afraid to go outside after dark if he is near a wooded area. He was teased mercilessly by everyone he told his story to but not once has his story changed over the past 40 years. This encounter happened in the Shawnee forest in between the Saline landing and Cave in rock Illinois.

I've listened to you driving from Louisville Kentucky to Albany New York , to Oklahoma city Oklahoma , then back to Nashville Tennessee and finally Louisville KY!! You not only kept my ass alive by staying awake but I remained alert enough to realize some very odd things in my journeys
Hi Ms. Huber, I'm glad that you liked my "Swamp tales", story's. I can honestly assure you that the one about my grandfather loosing and later recovering his hunting dogs with the help of Mr. Wills is absolutely true. Even though I was only 12 at the time (I'm 75 now) I remember it like it was yesterday. I also have another story that Cam read here on the Chanel called "Going back to Boggy Creek" from June 27th. 2020. I think you might enjoy it. Thanks for you kind comment. Respectfully, Tom Boyte
This was my first time listening to this channel and I absolutely adore the way you narrate each story as if it were your own. I live in Humboldt County is a town about 45 miles east of Eureka California and I'm always looking for stories that take place from my area and even though none of these stories are even remotely close I found them to be fascinating. As soon as the video was over I subscribed and I look forward to hearing whatever else you have out there... Keep up the good work and never lose your passion for relating stories the way that you do on your Channel.
Hey Cameron. I'm really fascinated by your story's. I listen to you all the time. Your voice has a way of putting me to sleep. It's almost like a soft lullaby. Very attentive. Thank you for that. I was listening to your story's. This one came from grays creek n.c. I was born in grays creek some 67 years ago. I still live here as of Feb 29th 2023. This is the first time I have ever heard a story from grays creek nc. I know no names or people can't be identified. I would like to know if this person could txt me back on my txt. Just to let me know where this place was when the Big foot jumped into the back of his truck. I'm sorry you was so scared by this animal. Just txt me back on my txt. Love your stories. Keep up your great work. Thank you Cameron.
Awesome stories, thank you. You are a fantastic storyteller. However, in the middle of the spooky deer hunter story was not the time for my 100 pound Weimaraner to come poke me in the arm with her nose to get my attention. Bout fell off the chair I jumped so hard.
Excellent stories. Although I loved them all, the bow hunter that almost became bigfoot's meal really had me on the edge of my seat and the little girl being pulled out of the window was equally hair raising 😬.
Disposable thumb, my family really enjoys your shows. You are revisiting the more wholesome experiences and presentations that Americans enjoy. Y’all have a place to stay, and good steak, if ya ever find yourself in Missouri. We so enjoy your shows!
I agree with Dave, I have always thought one of the reason we don't see them often is because they have remained partly arboreal. There is evidence that there children are sent to the tree's when danger is near.
We've even got some Swamps in Northeast Arkansas, with the Cypress trees, and Cypress knees. My Dad fished a Lot, and he would put his boat in a swampy-like creek, and it led to the river, where he had trot lines in the summer months, and nets in the winter. I, my Mom, and Sister, went with him many, many times, growing up. We didn't have gators, but lots of those old Garfish, in the creek/swamp.
It's so nice to tune in to your show and hear your familiar friendly voice. It's like coming home to my people. The stories are always exciting and interesting . TY Cam.

You have a kind manner which is a bit rare these days. I am completely mesmerized by the quality and quantity of stories. I was a sci major in college and I am impressed by the credibility your many stories. I have advertised your program to many people.
As a a small thanks and Merry Christmas to me-I have a Dixie Crypid shirt on way. God bless and thank you again! Jackie
Hang in there Jackie..hang in there.

That’s so scary to know it grabbed a girl out the window. Geez.
Thought you got squeetched by a squatch...
Hi Cam. Glad you are back. Hope everyone is having a good night.😊
WOW😊
GREAT stories, Cam! Love your narration as usual, and I’m so grateful to those that had these encounters for sending them in for us to enjoy! All had some element of being scary, terrifying or curious. ❤️👏
-> Do Share & Tell here with Cam here in his channel!! Thanks in advance!! Blessings!! 📖🙏🏼🕊️👼🏻✨
The last story was almost unbelievable! I mean, just WOOOOWWEEEEE thanks for sharing it, and each story thats shared, truly!
Love these stories. True or not, they are awesome storytelling. Thanks, Cam, you are the perfect fit for this type of campfire horror.
We missed ya! Looks like this is fixin to be a cosy video
That DJ story was Over the Top--Great One...
Scary for DJ and bless his heart. If I saw a big foot that close up I’d do just what he did I’ll bet. But I’d probably have heart failure.
Thank you Tanya. Welcome!
I love listening to all your stories, keep up the great work 😄👏🏽👌🏿
Good ta see you yesterday 😁👍👍🇺🇸
I held onto my weave and you delivered! Glad you're back!
We ARE YOUR PEOPLE!!!
Awesome stories, thank you. You are a fantastic storyteller. However, in the middle of the spooky deer hunter story was not the time for my 100 pound Weimaraner to come poke me in the arm with her nose to get my attention. Bout fell off the chair I jumped so hard.
LOL....
Lol
🤣😂🤣
I'd have dropped dead right there in front of God and everyone.
God bless
Enjoyed another set of stories! Always look forward to a new video
Good Evening All.. can’t wait to listen 🥰
Hey Cam! Happy Belated Birthday. Hope you had a great week fishing
Love listening to you. The one where the older man got his dogs back almost had me in tears. I have 7 dogs. They are family. God bless !
Wow, these are the most incredible encounters!! Absolutely fascinating and terrifying! Thank you so much!👍❤️
Excellent stories. Although I loved them all, the bow hunter that almost became bigfoot's meal really had me on the edge of my seat and the little girl being pulled out of the window was equally hair raising 😬.
Bhahaha! Hair raising..😂
Yes awesome I've been waiting God Bless You.!
Wow! I’m so glad you’re back! I’m glad you’re doing well❤️
All right here we go!!!!
Dave's story about Larry's encounter is just fascinating. Wow
Cam every body needs some time off, and by the way this has been a great show.
Disposable thumb, my family
really enjoys your shows.
Glad you’re back! Thanks for the fine stories!
Best bigfoot channel ever!
You’re the best Cam, keep them coming.
Thanks 4 the new stories, keeping me company tonight as I do my arts & crafts🙋☺😷😯🗻👍
This is probably the best story you have ever told or related to other's testimoney. Thanks Cam.
I like the pic of the fireplace, Cam. Looks so warm and comfy!
Cam I love your show, I love the stories. keep it up I listen all the time and also have listen to stories over too. Thanks so much!!
man, what some fascinating stories ! you made up for your absence with these bunch of stories.....Thanks ...
It's so nice to tune in to your show and hear your familiar friendly voice. It's like coming home to my people. The stories are always exciting and interesting . TY Cam.

... I'm putting up my Christmas Tree and Decor while listening to *"DC",* maybe I'm starting a "New Tradition for myself", that's an endearing thought.
Can't say anyone would understand or appreciate this, except *"the DC Tribe"*
55 minutes Yes!!!
Thank You for your work DC!
Always grateful to get a Dixie Cryptid notification ....ATB Mark UK

LOVE this channel !!! Thank you, Cam , for what you do !!! We understand your needing to take some down time. ALWAYS look forward to hearing more encounter stories from you. We ARE your PEOPLE !!! 😊👣💞
Straight to the main coarse....Great stuff.
The last one was the greatest I've heard and I believe in it, I've also had experience with old people who can tell you where your lost things are. My uncle found his lost document which was very important to him and found it that way. There are people with this gift in all cultures and religions.
I luv it and aint even watched it yet
Good to hear you again. These stories are great. Top work Cam.
Enjoyed all your stories tonight. Especially enjoyed DJ story. It was pretty scary.
Mr.Cam,
I love all your stories--on both podcasts. Moreover, I can't say strongly enough how much your style, and the little details that get revealed about you as you work, speak about what a good man you are. By god, keep up the fine work! Much thanks. Kev
Love me some D.C !
