Scenic Scottsdale Arizona Trail To Tempe Beach Park

- The name of this bike trail is The Indian Bend Wash. It was once a flood control project for Tempe and Scottsdale. Today it's one of the most scenic bike trails in all of Maricopa County. It's great for a workout, cycling, running or rollerblading. It also serves as a great place to walk or bike solo or with the family. These 15 miles are lined with homes and luxury apartments, gated communities, about 3 golf courses, 4parks (Mountain View Park, Chapparal Park, Indian School Park and El Dorado Park) where you can go swimming, fishing, enjoy a picnic and even a skate park. Also along the path is Scottsdale Urban Center where you can stop off at a bar or restaurant for a beer, burger or salad. As you're entering #tempearizona the trail runs parallel with the lake, highrise apartments, Tempe Center for arts and ends at Tempe Beach Park. #indianbendwash #phoenixaz

I always get my smoke on at the beach!! Its crazy theres a concrete trail for bike riding that goes down the salt river and it has lighting. Connects from priest to tempe market place all the way down to dobson and i believe somehow connects to country club.

You should come to the southside, theres lots of trails over there as well. Try lindo park southside is the best give it a try don’t be scared of the bad rep

Beach? You meant Town Lakes right? We won't get a beach till Cali falls in the ocean. We do have Big Surf, a water park in Tempe. But last time I went there they took out the sand! Which really sucked! Wow! 15 miles?? Great job!!

Hey Big Super, I just found your page. Love it! Love the tours of the city that you give. I am moving to Phoenix in August from Virginia. I am selling my house here in Virginia and relocating. I come to Phoenix every 3 or 4 months and have been doing so for the last 3 yrs. Between Phoenix and Scottsdale it reminds me of New York City BUT spread out. I am from Connecticut. I am going to record my journey from Va to PHX.
Joined big super tribe. I will post my journey on UA-cam and hit you up when I get to town. I'll be there on the 17th. Looking at places in Goodyear! I know it's a little ways out and people complain about commute but that's nothing compared to DC traffic. 12 miles might take you an hour or more.

Great vid! Back in the early 90's, my Dad and I would start around ASU campus and ride our bikes all the way down near Hayden. So glad I found your channel...great memories!

Check out moeur Tempe public park there is a secret path and a dirt canal that is over grown with cotton woods and dessert plants it's like a creek you can walk it or bike it to hole in the rock and evelyn hallmen pond and that one is cut off from access from the rest of papago park so kind nice

This park starts on Mckellips it goes from a golf course to a park and goes on forever they actually got a cool skate park and various fishing ponds
