Hopefully that won't be the case for moons. Wouldn't really make sense anyways. We mostly fly on Daymar which is a moon and this video was recorded on Clio which is also a moon. So yeah fingers crossed that atmospheric flight/control surfaces will only be a thing on planets!
It has something to do with the water. If you go above 160 above the water you can't really do rolls with movement in them anymore I think, we also did it so we can stay/fly together. We only flew for like an hour or two, we will do more flying there in the future. Normal Lowfly on Daymar is still around 220 but it depends on the ship. CIG still needs to tweak things when it comes to Lowfly to get some of the old feel of control back. Other than that I've been having some fun with MM pvp. I've done pvp before for some time and I think MM is honestly a step in the right direction even tho I really hated it at first
VPC Alpha Prime dual sticks and VKB T-Rudder pedals for the roll. Most people just roll on right stick twist axis but I prefer the pedals so I locked the right stick twist axis. I started out with dual T16000 and they give you enough fine control for starting out as a pilot. @shakma90 still uses them and he is amazing so yeah you don't need an expensive setup. Also if u wanna get the perfect middle ground go for VKB Gladiators
@@Lyosk nice! I’m currently using the vkb gladiator and the twcs throttle, and the rudder pedals mostly because it’s a smooth change from my dcs setup, works pretty well
I have a 4080 Super otherwise I wouldn't be able to run the game in 4K with smooth frames, I play on a 27 inch montior tho I guess that's a bit less resource intensive in 4K than on a bigger screen. U need a 40series card or and AMD equivalent for 4K gaming with good frames. CPU also matters a lot, I have an i7-13700KF. Make sure to have the game installed on an SSD if you have not done that already. Star Citizen also likes fast DDR5 Ram, that also gave me a bit of a smoother experience. SC is still SC tho it doesn't always run this smooth, especially on planets or when you are in a bigger group flying close together. I think the best resolution to play this game in right now is 1440p/2K
Yeah it kills you pretty fast, but I died more to the server just randomly saying "your dead now" while I'm in the air hitting nothing at all. 3.23 is still pretty bugged and has some control issues sadly when it comes to Lowfly
Well which physics engine isn't shit tho? Only games I can think of in that regard that I played are BF3 and BF4. This is also on the new patch that many people praise lol. But yeah we are just having fun in videogame. It's not like there is any competition between us, we are not doing pvp. Hate the game sure, but don't hate us for liking flying together in a videogame
Ya, fair enough. In retrospect it was a dick comment, you didn't make the physics engine. Thanks for not being a dick back, respect. Thanks for helping me put it in perspective. @@Lyosk
@@ps-gq5km It's all good man :) It takes strength to admit something was wrong, respect to you! If you want to, come by and also have some fun with the "shitty physics engine" haha :D. Though I gotta admit it's pretty rough right now. The patch isn't running stable for most people and Lowfly is in kind of a weird spot. But we definitely wont give up on it! It's the most fun/joy/positive time I ever got out of a videogame
Nice sliding session, bro 🤩
We'll see you very soon, hoping for greater stability and less desynch !
For sure! Lowfly is life! ❤
I'm sad I missed out on this, it looks absolutely amazing, the boys be surfing 🔥🔥
Thank you, we will soon surf again for sure! 🚀
So nice video mate . Keep going never stop
Thank you very much, that is so kind
nice its. its a shame that when the atmospheric flight model will come this wont be possible

Beautiful, shame about the limiter though ;) Has slowfly gotten even slower!?

@@GipsyDanger41 Awesome! Using sticks makes the game much more immersive when it comes to flying in my opinion. Good flights to you! O7
@@Lyosk yup! Good flights to you too! O7
Rippin! 🤘🚀🫡
Thanks Sinzy, love to you my brother. Can't wait to fly with u again!

Can you crash and go under the water?
What do you mean exactly? I did so at the very end of the video if you mean that
How many times did you instadie to the water? lol. The water is visually so nice but its pathetic that it still instakills ships.

What planet is this
It's the moon Clio, one of Microtech's moons
@@Lyosk ok thanks i thought the water was on micro its self
