Cheddar Gorge is stunning, not been there since 2018, and then prior to that was as a kid on a family holiday to Summerset. Glad you got the bike started and were able to get home.
Just up the road from me. Mid week at this time of year is usually a good time to be there. The issue is always the visitors who try to drive up or down while at the same time looking at the gorge. There is LOADS of parking. Stop the damn car, get out...... and WALK. Nice ride though and great footage.
Just took my mate mate down to Burnham as he has never been there before, then went to cheddar gorge, he has a 95 civic eg all the works he was in awe of it all, cant wait to get the bike down there
@@tomstc I just found out about these bikes while out riding Tail of the Dragon in North Carolina Tennessee this weekend. A Canadian guy there on a Vstrom owned one. He showed me pictures of his after I pulled up on one of my buells. Now I want one badly. Very unique bike. Very Buell like.
@@fvgc454ss places in America sound so excellent. One thing I do know is that these are a tough buy in the states as they were not officially imported? So odd as I think they would have done better in the states than the UK!
@tomstc yes he said they wer never sold here and I had never even heard of them. Now that I've seen them I must own one some day. They would have been popular here
Do you think the rectifier cover that you have installed is impeding airflow over the rectifier causing it to overheat and fail? I have a similar cover but have yet to install it for that reason. Please let us know if you figure out why it's failed. Thanks.
I don't think so, there are plenty of others with them. They have no issues, the original failed last year. But it was pretty battered! The one I replaced it with was a cheap nasty one, I'm guessing it wasn't up to the job
Shame about the bike, hope its an easy fix. I love riding Cheddar Gorge, love the views down through there. Not so keen on them through the fish eye though mate. Good vid none the less👍

Love that road, its always a blessing when its quiet 👍
It seems like a nice road, if the bike was behaving would have stayed and explored!

Nice one, it's a stunning place
I've had several Buells and now I need to add one of these to the list. Very cool bike!
They really are a cool bike, but not when the rectifier plays up 🤣

Its a very unique place, I will revisit this summer
Great film, very beautiful scenes👍. Where did you get the clutch/brakefluid reservoirs? Looks great.
Thank you!
They are some cheap Chinese jobby's, I'm actually looking to replace them
Hope you got back ok. Shame looks like we missed the part of the ride 😊
Managed to get home safe, thanks 😊

Habe you got silencers in your exhaust pipes?
I take out the baffles
What tail tidy do you have on your bike? Been looking for a good one.
The one I have on the bike came with it I'm afraid, unfortunately they don't make them any more

I wanted to do so much more but couldn't leave the bike for obvious reasons. I will be visiting again!!!
Always wanted an Mt01 what do you think of it so far?
I love it, loads of road presence, character and bucket loads of touque. I made a video last year on living with it for 2 years. Check that out!
You figure out what's going on?
Yeah just cheap nasty rectifier, replaced with a (hopefully) better one seems good so far
@@tomstc 👏💪
