So cute! I love the details. It looks like a real baby ball python and could just slither away. Lol. I love it! Have you ever tried sculpting a hognose snake? They have the cutest little faces with their upturned nose. ❤

Thank you so much! I have sculpted several hognose for customers! They are adorable. Maybe I will make a video! 😊

Using the knurling on the knife for a snakeskin texture is a neat idea.
What is it that you are painting the unbaked clay with?

Do you recommend coloring before baking or after?

I have a video about 11 vids down. Talking about paint and polymer clay. Feel free to watch that if you like. I paint before and after depending on the project.

Do you use/recommend polymer clay or air dry clay for better and long lasting results???

I do not use air dry clay. I only use polymer. If you are just getting into the hobby and are not sure if it’s something you want to continue, air dry clay is greater for practicing on a budget and is easier to find. But polymer will always be stronger and last longer than air dry clay!

@@eversonarts8261 how about FIMO clay?? Shoukd I get this one?

I use sculpey premo. I don’t use fimo, so I cannot give an opinion but what I do know is sculpey lll is very brittle. Wouldn’t recommend.
