You were a little quiet, so I had to turn on the automatic subtitles. I wasn't disappointed. 5:00 "Then you're just going to go from the top to bottom and then start screaming" The radiator installation summed up.
I just purchased this cooler from Amazon for $80 and microcenter wants to charge me $60 to install it. You've made look simple so i think im going to try to install it myself. Great video.
Thanks, your video literally solved something i have been wondering for years and never figuref out... The use of the 2 header ports coming from the cooler 😂
At 6:42 your plugging the CPU fan header, that has 3 slots, into a 4 pin connector on the motherboard...is this correct ??? Following your video every second of the way and its been super helpful
TY so much for vid. I have just re-assembled my old pc for a friends child and I coulc not for the life of me recall how this fitted. Great work mate. Liked, subbed rang that bell.
Really helped me in that I have the same exact case. Upgrading CPU, MOBO and CPU FAN. So needed to know if this one will fit my case and how it will look. I was initially worried that my over sized zotac GPU would be in the way of the radiator. Looks like I will have plenty of room as the radiator does not go past the red plate that covers the wiring.
Bro i have a question. My cooler turn on red. And the temperatures of my pc reached 100•c. You do think that the water cooling is the problem? I need to fix it ? O buy a new one
hey, i have the same cooler and its great but mine is really loud all the settings are on quiet and i updated the drivers and also did a custom curvs do you know whats the issue?
would a normal mini usb cable work as the link cable? I mean, I'm assuming so. I don't want to waste my limited USB headers on it if I don't have to is the thing.
Newbie question! By setting up your fans to push ambient air through the radiator at the front of the case, aren't you essentially exhausting the radiator's heat into your case? Wouldn't it make more sense to mount the fans in a pull position at an exhaust point? (back or top of case)
it works that way, because the air will flow into your pc and get out by the other fans you've mentioned, the top and back ones that are pointed with exiting the hot air.
Why Corsair CPU fan header plugged into in CPU_OPT fan header on motherboard. The Aoi pump fan header is also there on motherboard. The AI suite 3 doesn't detect the AOI pump and the H fan header. Please help.
Can I install it without the backplate if the MB has holes fitting the screws from the front? I have ASUS Apex and it already has places fitting the screws but not enough space for the screw to go through from behind! Thanks.
Is there one universal bracket for all processors? I'm using it on my 8700k lga1151 intel, planning to upgrade to AM4 5800x, will the same bracket work?
i have a asus rog rebulic of gamers motherboard and i got the h100i v2 together a while back but recently i got the 1500w thermaltake power supply and when i plugged that into the motherboard my h100i will not work or read on the computer anymore and it is saying my cpu is running at 100c. any help please???
The wire set that has the 2 connectors is that required? The only way I can connect power is to a header on my MOBO using the 3pin header connector. I am new to this thanks for the help.
So in my iCUE for my water cooler in the UI program my fan RPM speed is NOT showing but my fans do spin. Is there a way sombody can help me figure this out? I was told by corsair that I've got a cable plugged in wrong on my mobo but I don't know how to figure that out. Thanks in advance!
Sorry for my stupidity because I'm new to PC building but where do we plug in the H100i v2 for the Asus TUF Z270 Mark 2? I got kinda confused where to plug in things .
To get my tubes in a good orientation i rotated the CPU block 90 degrees (corsair logo is now vertical). Is this bad for the pump? My temperatures are pretty good but just concerned if it puts strain on the system?
I have this same cooler mounted in the exact same configuration and for some reason my studs that screw into the back plate slowly back out over a few days. They become loose, when this happens my temps rise. I have tried reinstalling checking that everything is tightened but they always come loose . The hoses are pretty firm and tend to apply a lot of pressure in a sideways direction pushing on my cooler. Any thoughts on this? Yes my backplate contains washers and is firm and not shaking. I was looking into an x62 Kraken and the hoses are much less firm.
There is another installation video on here saying it is not a good idea to plug the fans into the MB rather the PSU. But doesn't this mean the fans will run at full speed all the time? Is this accurate in that it has the possibility of damaging your MB?
I have issues with this I have connected the radiator fans to two fan headers from the pump !! N connected the other fan header from the radiator to cpu-fan is it correct way of connecting.. I see my temprature shooting up 70C in idle I don’t know wat I’m doing wrong can some help will b really great full!! This has been a headache for me for past few months
3rd radiator install method- mount case fans on front with long screws- long screws are long enough to go into radiator as well. Mount pull fans to inside of radiator for push/pull :D
If you use the fan method that you don't use in this video, doesn't it mean that 2 extra fans for cool air input are needed? Because you need cool air in the cabinet to be able to send cool air to the cpu cooler and gpu
I have the same case but I have the 140mm fans. The top fan cannot screw in but it is in a very stable position and doesn’t move. It still preforms well. Just letting y’all know if you’re looking to do this too but with larger fans
I'm running a msi carbon gaming z270 mb I just hooked up this liquid cooler I plugged it in the CPU fan slot and only one fan is running using the supplied connection. also under the corsair link it shows zero. was told on forums to try to increase the voltage to 12 on the CPU fan bios but that didn't work either still one fan any ideas? I don't have an aio slot I do have one that says pump fan.
Just finished building a new pc and doing some stress testing with Aida64 and my temps are 73/83 degrees with a max of 95 with a room temp of 24 degrees. No overclocking. I already applied different thermal paste. Specs: Intel Core i7 7700k MSI Z270 Gaming M3 Corsair Hydro H100i v2 Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK16GX4M2B3000C15
Yo man I got the RGB platinum edition of h100i but I keep getting the Windows 10 disconnect sound and it just shuts off and turns back on. My games run fine and everything and it just happens randomly like it would work for like 6 hours straight and all good but then it will happen like twice back to back. Any idea about this? I’ve tried messing with BIOS but no dice :/
My mother board only has a single USB 2.0 connector. I have a usb internal connector for this cooler and my motherboard. Any way around this problem other than dont install the motherboard connector?
I have this extremely annoying problem. When i've set it up, and plugged in the USB in motherboard, it doesn't install. I can't see it in Corsair Link 4. In Task manager it says "Printer and ??" It says "h115i Driver error" With a yellow triangle. I've updated bios, tried different usb's on the motherboard, restarted 500 times, reinstalled windows, i mean wtf...
Hi I just want to mention the position on the radiator is not the wey it should go. You must install the radiator with the pipes down .( up side down on the wey you show on the video. )the wey you install it not be ok with possible not working the circulating pump. Due to high position on pipes. And suckling air . I experience this problem and the cooler doesn't work and the processor was going to 100 Celsius So correct the position on the radiator with the pipes down solved the problem. Other than that it will be fine
hey look at 4:03 you see what you did to that radiator?? you touched that and you messed up those coils or whatever its called ...i have a huge problem now because i just installed that and i noticed that during my fans attachment i did touched the other side and now my radiator is messed up like yours is..... and now i wonder if i just broke that cooling system by my stupidity??? and idk is that water goes there thru those coils ????and now ill have a leak or something??? idk im afraid to turn the system on
Thank you. Finally, someone that showed the wiring well enough to understand. The instructions with this unit are SHIT!
Smedleydog1 it’s pretty straight forward dude...
@@joshway6732 not to some people :) not everyone can follow instructions hence why they watch guides...
5 years later. Thanks for the help
You were a little quiet, so I had to turn on the automatic subtitles. I wasn't disappointed.
5:00 "Then you're just going to go from the top to bottom and then start screaming"
The radiator installation summed up.
oh you got me. he said screwing in holes.
I just purchased this cooler from Amazon for $80 and microcenter wants to charge me $60 to install it. You've made look simple so i think im going to try to install it myself. Great video.
Best video on You-tube for showing where cables go.
Thanks, your video literally solved something i have been wondering for years and never figuref out... The use of the 2 header ports coming from the cooler 😂
Best instructional video so far as I seen... also the video quality is superb
This is helpful but would be a lot easier to follow without the music.
Mikolaj Kraszewski Nah, it’s really not.
have you seen the corsair PC case showcase video? It's about 1000000000000000x worse
Turn the music 50% down during speaking. Otherwise I would say it's great! Very detailed.
Dude, great content! This actually helped me a lot because I seem to have the very exact same case and MOBO! cheers up for you.
Thank you guy, I didnt know i had the danm thing installed wrong for literally 2 years. only looked becuase of temps with cyberpunk. Cheers!
Finally someone installs the AIO and fans in the correct position in the front
so you just put the corsair link cable on the USB headers on the mobo?
At 6:42 your plugging the CPU fan header, that has 3 slots, into a 4 pin connector on the motherboard...is this correct ???
Following your video every second of the way and its been super helpful
Most Mobos have 4 pin connectors for CPU fans, some use 4 some use 3, its designed for max compatibility. It's not incorrect. :>
Just wondering why you did not user your AIO Pump header for the pump?
Thermal paste is optional. Doesn't need for this one, only for like Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro is needed.
Syuna and i was gonna say that you're beautiful but it ended up being a pic of some random chick.
The best part is if you reverse image search his/her profile picture, it's "Asia's Prettiest Transgenders"
its is made of copper so some people will apply liquid metal (like me)
Jack johnson sorry you got a reality check
@@RapidFireReaper it comes thermal paste applied to the block. Not sure why he added more.
TY so much for vid. I have just re-assembled my old pc for a friends child and I coulc not for the life of me recall how this fitted. Great work mate. Liked, subbed rang that bell.
On a h100i pro would you put the fans on the outside in front of the radiator so you can see the LED’s better?
Chris okay cuz I have the nzxt 500 case and the radiator goes on the front of the case
I like that all the components are listed including the screws. Corsair don't even tell you on their website. Thanks!
Would the H100i V2 work with a LGA1151 motherboard?
Did you install the fans on the radiator to blow in to the case or blow out...looks like into the case...
That's some great content for a 602 subscribers channel
Does it matter which end the water hoses are ?? Front facing panel with hoses on top or bottom. I would think bottom ???
Bro i have a question. My cooler turn on red. And the temperatures of my pc reached 100•c. You do think that the water cooling is the problem? I need to fix it ? O buy a new one
it's a blessing that you have the exact case model as me and motherboard. I couldn't remember what the cables in the back did hahaha
Can u put the fans facing inside the case instead of on the outside of the radiator with this?
hey, i have the same cooler and its great but mine is really loud all the settings are on quiet and i updated the drivers and also did a custom curvs
do you know whats the issue?

Will H80i V2 be able to handle Intel i5 10600K (125 TDP)? Please help. Thanks

Is it just for the light?

7:45 do you connect one fan cable to the motherboard and one to the fan header connectors?
Yes, AIO pump connector, power connector, and USB 2.0 connector
Is there one universal bracket for all processors? I'm using it on my 8700k lga1151 intel, planning to upgrade to AM4 5800x, will the same bracket work?
Unfortunately, you’ve installed the cooler incorrectly. You should have mounted the radiators on top or tubes down on the front.

Is it normal for that backplate to be loose when installed? Useing intel
Does this require a sata power connector?
you should mention airflow direction and top mounting options if you are doing and AIO installation video.
How about pump noise? Is it noisy during running? Please let us know. Thanks.
Theirs no noticeable noise coming from the pump, all the noise comes from the fans
So if the radiator in the front is set up as intake fans what did you do for the top and rear fans? Do you do the rear as exhaust and top as intake?
Nice video thanks for the info I'm using same case and cooler
Chancy same here
Same Aswell
is the cooler quiet?
well its a liquid cooler, so yes

Buy a normal usb cable and try to route it outside the case and plug it in the mobo usb 2.0 port i did that with my old motherboard

can i replace those Non RGB fans with RGB fans and connect it with the AIO pump ??
